tried Diablo on and off for about a year.Got to the 5th act before I was very much tired of it.Have not played it since.

 Depends on how much different is DA2 to Diablo. 1UP called DA2 a hack & slash, devs in these forums however said that this is due to the sample given to 1UP which is not representative for whole DA2.

 If it tries to be a hack & slash as 1UP claims, then yes DA2 will face trouble if DIII release is close. Diablo defined what hack & slash is today and any hack & slash game released close to DIII's release is in trouble.

 If not, I don't see DA2 & DIII conflicting each other.
