Okay, so i was just just thinking the other day about mods in DA:O and then DA2; from there it went on to the save transfer between said games and one final question came to mind. Will our mods in DA:O affect our game transfers to DA2 in any way? Can we still transfer our games with mods that goes up to the dozen, or do we have to uninstall them and play the game all over again to make a working transferable save?

Thats a good question I was wondering about that too since all, and I mean all of my DAO and Awakening have mods in them. Hopefully Bioware can work around that

But can't there be a mod that will allow you to create the info that will be transferred?, circumventing another vanilla playthrough?, i think there was such a thing for ME.

Fortunately I do have some saves without any mods at all; so it wouldn't be a gamebreaker for me. Still I'm curious, and it would be nice to get some kind of clarification before the day of release itself

I think that mods have nothing to do with your choices in the game's story because I believe that the only data DA 2 is going to read from Origins are your major plot decisions (like who is king and stuff like that), plus we won't import any character. It's going to be technically stupid if this is not the case.

That's entirely possible, personally I think the game's gonna read of the epilogue, or of your character pages here on BSN or something.

I doubt any dev has an answer yet.
They are busy doing other things.
