I have a feeling he escaped Ostagar. He's too badass to be killed by mere Darkspawn.

Technically, yes, we never saw him actually be slain, but if he somehow escaped being swarmed by darkspawn, it would greatly add to his badass-ness. Perhaps he pulled a Sandal?

It's a shame we didn't actually get to experience traveling with Duncan to Ostagar. Duncan could have been the father the Warden never had (for some origins).

It would have made Duncan's death far more impacting to the player.

Well if Duncan is dead it's a shame as he was very well done with a very good voice actor.

Hmm... He was decapitated by hurlock vanguard, and after that his body was eaten with cheese and pickles.

Only his Beard has escaped, but that's another story.

I hope he didn't survive. That would have made him an ass for not helping out with the darkspawn after he (in some cases) dragged my character away from her home.

Still Duncan was awesome and I guess people must have really liked his look since (in my oppinion) Hawke looks a lot like him.

I think why you could not find him, the Darkspawn, took him and others underground, Morrigan tells you that the ones alive were taken underground...for maker knows what. I really thought that we would have had to fight a powerful darkspawn Duncan. I really liked DUncan better then alot of the charcters in DAO, he was really well made and had a great voice actor, Peter Renaday.
