Hi all,

I just wanted to clarify something, as I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere-

Are DLC items, PURCHASED, exclusive to the platform they were purchased on?

I'm
only asking, as I have a bucketload of DLC that was redeemed through
promotions etc that are available to me on all platforms, and some
content that is exclusive to the platform that I purchased it on or
redeemed the code on.

If not, is there any means of purchasing DLC for the 360 using bioware points?

I
have 1600 bioware points ready to go, but was looking at purchasing ME2
and DA:O DLC for the 360... I don't want to go wasting the points if I
can't use the content.

Cheers,
Luke

You can only purchase DLC for the xbox using MS points. So far the free content has been available for all platforms but the paid content is only available for the platform it is bought from.

Hi Luke and thanks DarkOmegaX,

DarkOmegaX is correct on both counts.  Some items can be used across all platforms, others can only be used on the platform they are purchased on. This varies based on the content.

For your other question, you can user BioWare Points to purchase DLC for the PC. In order to purchase on the XBox, you will need MS Points.

wow that is really stupid. I was browsing the ea store and purchased 1600 and 800 bioware points hoping to download dlc on xbox 360. The product description says use them to buy dlc for mass effect and dragon age but doesnt say anything about only on pc. I dont play on pc hopefully I can get a refund.
