Seriously though - where's the Garrus costume?
(Or even one of those simple Asari head prothetics?)

I've seen some interesting asari costumes, though not specifically for this Comic-Con.

A good Turian would be a considerable project to do well. I know Holly and crew were working on a pretty crunched schedule for Comic-Con. I'm not entirely sure the Grunt armor existed more than two weeks ago.

Another video, gets some good close-ups. Mr. Illusive Man has penetrating eyes.

Ran across this bit of Bioware news which has nothing to do with cosplay.

Uhh... is anyone else getting a funny vibe off of this one, concerning the gender of the cosplayer?

Hhahaha thats me, I am a girl. :P The water polo suit really squished down my chest, which doesn't help since I'm small chested. I have had to make note that I'm a female on my costume page :)

Here is a better photo, where I wore a better undershirt that didn't squish me as much

Oh.... uh.... sorry....

I guess the angle of the pose and camera made your shoulders look wider and hips look narrower than they do in the other pic.  That's what set Austin Powers off in my head.

No harm done :) I understand it covered 95% of my body so it is hard to tell.

On topic: I wish the youtube videos worked for me, I saw a kind of blurry video of the skit but the good close up one isn't buffering on my end :(

I have to say that I'm amazed at what people can pull off with limited resources.

Curvy Cortana. I've seen everything XD

No really though, that's an awsome suit.

Here's yet more on the Mass Effect troupe at Comic-Con. This one's actually courtesy of Chris Priestly.

Can someone remind Mr. Priestly that Grunt =/= Wrex?

I really wish I had such talent and patience to do costumes like that. They're amazing!

I think the girl portraying Tali is the wrong physical type for the costume, though the costume itself is really well made. The girl isn't unattractive by any means, but Tali should be taller, with very skinny legs and a smaller waist. Of course there's probably considerable bulk from the costume that is throwing off the proportions as well, but they should definitely have padded her hips to simulate Tali's famous and much-worshipped derriere. :D

Also that it's "Al-Jilani," not "al-Jalani."

Yeah.  Unless the universe warped and became awesome in somehow Wrex shows up for the Suicide Mission?

Sorry but, if you're geeky enough to cosplay you're not going to have skinny legs XD

Nah only jokin'.

I wouldn't mind seeing even more cosplay pics even beyond Comic-Con 2010, much like HMWSGX's asari commando. :) Think there was a Thane at Comic-Con. Should find some more pictures.

Yep, I was there as Thane. Here I am trying to mooch off of the attention! :P
Image IPB
The makeup on my mouth and chin had obviously started to wear off by that point of the day, and I am not happy about the lack of time that forced me to use a flat black bodysuit instead of Thane's proper garb, but I am quite happy with how it all turned out.

Nice, demifiend! I know there are more pictures of you out there somewhere. Surprised there weren't that many other ME cosplayers. Maybe next year I should be Kasumi. Fat Kasumi, after she'd eaten too much pocky.

I'm going to go as Kaidan then... because I can't pull off anyone else.
