I've beaten ME2 three times but due to some unfortunate circumstances my game got messed up. Wondering if anyone has heard any news about a possible GOTY edition for ME2. With all of the extra content coming out for it I see it as a possibility yet have not heard anything about it. Anybody think one will come out this fall?

if bioware keeps up pumping out these DLC packs with regularity. we could be up to like 15 DLC packs (weapons, armor and appearance packs included) by the time ME3 comes out if there make like a super deluxe edition that has all the DLC and some more extra content (bigger art book etc.) i'd buy that probably

If it had come out last year, there'd be little or no contest. This year it'll have some pretty fierce competition.

I'd suspect there's plans for a DLC pack at the very least. Other publishers have been bringing them out for a few games, GotY or otherwise, and I think it'd be wise of EA to get in on it. If there is one (either a DLC pack or GotY/Complete edition), I wouldn't expect to see it for a few more months at the very, very earliest.

Or they could just release dlcs for free like they should be.

Well you really don't have to actually win GOTY for an edition to be made of the game, you just have to be in the running and have allot of DLC. Plus ME2 will win GOTY from somebody maybe not IGN or Gamespot but somebody. I'll be pissed if they give it to Red Dead Redemption, that's another one of those games that is insanely overrated simply because it comes from Rockstar or Bungie.

I'm sure they're going to release a final version of ME2, not necessarily a GOTY edition, but one with all the DLC pre-loaded and maybe some additional stuff, similar to the Platinum version of ME1. But I wouldn't expect anything like that until a few months prior to the release of ME3.
