Hi!
I'm playing Kotor 2 on Windows 7 Professional (64 bit). I was surprised that I got it started right away, but there are two very annoying bugs:
1) Sometimes, after a combat, my main char won't respond to the WASD-keys anymore. He still moves, if I click on a container, person, workbench or something. If I take control of a companion, I can control him with the keys and my main char will go with them. But if I switch back, I still can't move him. The only way to get around this, is to save and load. I don't see any special reason for this. Sometimes everythings fine, sometimes I get stuck two times in a row.
Luckily, this forces me to always have a recent savegame.
2) It crashes sometimes during dialogues or ingame-graphic-cutscenes, not terribly often, but it happens at least once every time I play it.
I think the latter could have something to do with my multicore processor (Intel Core i7), though this was no problem in Kotor 1. I've got the UK version of Kotor 2, I have both official patches installed. Activating compatibility mode didn't help, and playing around with the option to allow keyboard control during combat didn't help either.
Please help!

KotOR2 has never been given any coverage on the Bioware forums. It is an Obsidian game, and the forums for it are on LucasArts' and Obsidian's sites.

I, too, get the weird control issues after combat or a cutscene. I absolutely can't move my character unless I save and reload, and it destroys my ability to play the game. I dislike saving and loading my game twice every minute.

This is for KOTOR 1 but from what I've heard it also works with KOTOR 2.
Go to the section where it alks about editing the games INI file and perform the Disable Vertex Buffer option, this really helped me with crashes in KOTOR 1, I haven't had problems with KOTOR 2 but many people have said that this small edit fixes up crashes in it also.
