He said that there was less conversations and more fighting, and of course there was since the conversation was in battle. Therefor I clearly just asked what he likes to talk about in battle while the darkspawn are getting closer.2papercuts wrote...
where does he say he wants to talk in battle Ichika

"Didn't see this posted anywhere here yet, so here it is:

Like it or not, BioWare, it seems the impression DA2 is giving off is that its an over the top, simplified hack-n-slash.
A couple quotes from the article:
Most of the demo was spent explaining the evolution process of Dragon Age: Origins to that of Dragon Age 2, in that the team paid attention to reviews, and listened to focus groups to get feedback on what worked and what didn't. Apparently a lot of the complaints revolved around the combat, and BioWare took notes to evolve Dragon Age 2 into what it is currently shaping up to be... a much more combat driven action game. So much for the rebirth of the Western RPG.
Yes, one of the big changes for Dragon Age 2 is that the combat has been revamped (or stripped back, depending on how you look at it) -- turning it into a much more hack-n-slash type of game when playing as a Knight. This is all done through a closer third-person perspective than the first game; think Ninja Gaiden, and how you hacked through dozens of enemies, blood spilling everywhere -- now replace ninjas with darkspawn, and you have the basic idea behind DA2."
Seems like the reviewers are getting mixed signals or something. But, it does show that the feared hack/slash elements are on the game.
Does the mage or rogue play differently? Who knows.

Yes, its going to be Dragon Effect game. Less choices, less plot, less conversation, more action and fighting.
Yeah, mine broke. I just wish this Kodaris fella would put as much effort into his grammar as he does in his flames.

This bit makes it a great article. But, again, it was a small glimpse, and it would be a fool's errand to deduce too much from this tiny sliver of gameplay.

Thank you Maker, thank you!
Still, with all the previews up and read the things, I gotta say I am running my excitement quite high right now. Great, I love it

the combat sounds like the console on the first game which had buttons mapped to the pad. It worked really well on the xbox controller

Unless english is your second language, it's pretty self explanatory.
I didn't think the controller's implementation was done well/good/great at all, but then again it was a port by a third party.

Unless they cut the spell number to half, 6 quick buttons are still too limited for a mage.
Sacred II; 12 quick slots for spells/talents via the left/right trigger with 4 potion slots from the D-Pad, which wasn't by any means utilized in DA.

The reviewer obviously knows the material and has researched what fans are looking for or are worried about, I feel a lot more reassured having read that.

I think it's because at comic-con they only have the 360 version set up.

Do you just spend your entire day lurking around these forums so you can troll every thread? Seriously.
This is probably the best preview so far, in the sense that it is the first one that didn't call Darkspawn orcs at some point.
