I watched the original eighties Clash of the Titans on TV last night, haven't seen it since back in the day.
There's a mechanical owl named Bubo, pronounced boo-boe.
At one point, three blind witches who use a crystal "eye" to see drop the eye on the ground. And to neutralize the witches, Harry Hamlin cries out to his faithful mechanical owl:
"BUBO! GO FOR THE EYE!"
Interesting, eh?
Clash of the Titans dialog: "Bubo, go for..."
