... do we get them back somehow? Of all the character origins I've played, his is the most I've enjoyed so far, but unfortunately, that origin makes you lose all your items. No Memory Band, no Dragon Armor, no bonus boots from buying the game at Amazon. I suppose there's a way to go back and get them? Right?

I still have the Dalish elf and the dwarf commoner origin to do, but so far it seems the dwarf noble gets quite the short end of the stick, as the human noble, city elf, and the magi don't lose their bonus items.

disable all bonus content, force load game, save, reeneable content, reload.

ahh, I haven't messed around with the interface to know you could do that. Would have been far more elegant for them to have flagged those items so they wouldn't be lost, but alas. Nice planning there Bio!

yes, their QA posted an apology and "we're working on it" on the daforum, while confirming that the workaround I posted is the only current solution.
