Despite following the instructions I am unable to sinc ME1 to ME2. Therefore, when i try to start a new game in ME2 using a character from ME1 ME2 doesn't see it. How do I fix that problem?
Ok! What part of this query isn't anyone understanding? How do I spell it out?
"When I open a new game in Mass Effect 2 and want to use a character from Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2 doesn't see it."
I never had this problem wIth Dragon Age Origins and Awakenig.
"How do I get Mass Effect 2 to see my saved games in Mass Effect 1?" I followed the damn instructions in Mass Effect 2 --to the letter, but still it isn't working. Now, if it isn't too much of a problem can someone please tell how to fix the problem? Thank you.

Official support is on EA's Help Pages, not here. This is user to User, and it's summer, so chances are good that no gamer who ever had a difficuluty such as yours has stopped by, so there's been no one around to respond. You will have to rely on the archives, here and the old Legacy site's, if you cannot get satisfaction from EA. Meanwhile, discontinue the foolishness.Jallard wrote...

1) Patch to 1.02.
2) Open the Configuration Tool.
3) Go down to the "Save Games" tab.
4) Hit "Copy Mass Effect 1 Save Games", direct it to the location of your ME1 saves (generally My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Mass Effect\\\\Save)
5) Boot game, try to import.
If you've tried these steps already, let me know what you all have done.

tried it. didn't work. The reason that I am ranting is that I spent mo0ney on these two games and "I expect them to work as advertised. No exceptions. As I said before I didn't have this problem with DA:O and Awakening."TruYuri wrote...

This forum is for fans and owners of Mass
Effect 1 on PC and Xbox 360 to assist each other with technical
questions. Official game support is provided by Electronic Arts or
Microsoft, but fans are encouraged to try to assist each other here.
This forum is for ME1 support, please use the ME2 technical support
forum for your platform for ME2 tech issues.
Look at your history of forum posts, whining why you prefer DA over ME, and expecting ME to be the same, demanding immediate satisfaction for bugs or you will sue without even reading the context of the forums. Go whine at EA, they provide the official tech support. We dont have to put up with your crap here. This is for fans to support each other. If you cant keep a civil tongue in your mouth, and wait a few hours for someone to have some spare time, that they do not have to volunteer, then you are welcome to go and die under a rock. Quietly preferably.
