I first ran into 3 unfinishable quests in this game so far. One of them isn't major, the second one shouldn't have what is happening to it, happen, and the thrid one actually breaks the game so it's unfinishable.

The first one is in the Kocari Wilds and the Pinch Of Ashes quest:
Because there were no instructions on how to actually finish it, I just gave up, did the joining, Figuring I could go back and do it later....Nope, Area is closed off. now I have a journal entries that cannot be completed
Glad I did the Wild Flower Quest before I left or that one would be in the same state the Pinch Of Ashes one is in.

As I said those are not bad. but thsi next one shoudlln't be happening at all. This one is unexcusable:

The second one is The Return To Ostagar DLC:
The return to ostagar DLC, if you don't finish it up before you leave, the area gets closed off and you cannot go back.... This is DLC people are paying for, they should be able to go back to it when they want. You can with Shale,

The first part of the story Ok fine I can see not being able to go back because it's destroyed, ok that is understanable, but not DLC that sets it so you can GO BACK there if it sets it up so you can go back there to begin with why doesn't it continue to allow you to go back there when you want?

It shouldn't have been called Return To Ostagar....it should have been called Partially Return To Ostagar
 Which brings me to another point about this, why can't you go back into the Korcari Wilds in the DLC? That doesn't make any sense.

You are paying to be able to RETURN TO OSTAGAR, you are not paying to Return to Ostagar only once...
Again, not game breaking but a real annoyance


The third and final glitch is a major BioWare screw up, I wont even text it, here is a screenshot I took of my journal and I wrote what the problem is in the picture:



I have done everything there is to do in every area outside of Denerim. Denerim is the only place I have anything left to do.THERE IS NO PLACE LEFT FOR ME TO GO OUTSIDE DENERIM EVERY PLACE ON THE MAP OPEN HAS BEEN GONE TO AND CLEANED OUT AND DOUBLE CHECKED TRIPLE CHECKED AND QUADRUPLE CHECKED, NO OPEN AREAS TO DO ANYTHING IN EXCEPT DENERIM AND CAMP AND CAMP WILL NOT CHANGE WHAT'S IN DENERIM.

So don't anyone start being stupid and say I need to go somewhere outside of Denerim as there is no where else for me to go, and no where else for me to do anything.

ZeroMystic: I've seen a whole lot of people trying to help you out and you responding with personal attacks, calling them idiots and morons. If you truly, genuinely want some help getting through this, you can do so while being reasonable about it. I can tell you that at a glance, it seems as though you simply haven't taken a step or two needed to progress in your quest line. Some people have made mention of this, and either you've acknowledged it in a place I did not see or you glossed over it for the sake of continuing this argument. Again, this is a tech-support forum and all this business has no place here.



That goes for any of the rest of you participating in this nonsense as well. Grow up, people.
