If I remember correctly, a big bulk of DA:Origins' main quest was essentially, " get these guys, these guys, and these guys on your side" and the only variety was what you killed (at least for me). I am guessing the sequel won't feel quite as repetitive because it spans over 10 years but does anyone know if this is something that Bioware plans on addressing?
Will the journey through the main quest be more varied in DA2?

From what I recall, there is no group of bad guys you have to kill. So the goal of being forced to do something is removed. Your choices you make during the retelling of a particular section in the tale, drive the storyline.

I hope there is greater variation in the main quest because DA:O felt like you only got 2 choices for each of the main quests. Of course there is no way of knowing until we get more info on the plot.
