[xxSgt_Reed_24xx]

what Gibbed save editor do I download to mod the 360 saves.... the one I downloaded from a group here on the BSN won't run on my computer. It gives me this message: "Windows cannot open the file"

Anyone know where to get the right save editor.

Btw, I'm doing it via the USB method if that helps.

Hmm. That's where I recently got the gibbed save editor as well and it worked for me. :/

Just a guess; but did you try and open the program from a shortcut?

The gibbed save editor only works if you open the program in a folder with all the other files that accompany the program in the download.  If you take the program out of the folder and try and open it, it won't work.

In the folder there should be two application extension programs in addition to the application itself (and a read me file; but that's not as important).  If the application (Gibbed.MassEffect2.SaveEdit) isn't in a folder with a file called Gibbed.Helpers.dll and Gibbed.MassEffect2.FileFormats.dll, then its not gonna work.

Right... I had it all in a folder... but if you look at the screens they give you, next to the gibbed save editro there is a pink block. Mine didn't have that, it was that weird looking image that things get when you can't open them. =/

That's why I was wondering if I downloaded the right one.

If it doesn't just automatically open then there's something wrong. The pink box should be showing up not the unspecified program emblem since the Save Editor is its own application not a program which is opened by anything else.

My guess is it might have gotten corrupted when you downloaded it. I'd just try downloading it again man. I mean the file is like 200kb total so its not gonna take a long time.

I just tried opening the link for the Save Editor by itself and it didn't open properly. So I'd suggest you download from the link with all 4 files which is the one I used and which has worked for me.
