I posted this elsewear but got no response and i'v searched the web and nothing like this has been noted before so im not sure if its just me or are others experiencing this.

Sometimes while playing darkspawn chronicles darkspawn will stop respawning. This mostly happens in the palace area. I will suddenly be without any allies whatsoever. making continuing impossable (ill be stuck with just me and literally no party). and i'll have to reload from the auto save.

Its happened quite a few times now so im not sure if its actually a bug or are you supposed to have limited allies?

i dont think you are so is there any way to reset this? it seems once i'v hit the bug even loading the auto save doesnt correct it so should i reinstall the game somehow or what do you do once you hit this bug?

ok well for anyone who may have experienced this but is too shy or something to reply i'v found what i believe to be a fix for this. Save the game at every downtime (whenever you are not engaged with an enemy) and if you should be fighting, and notice that your allies have dried up, you have hit the bug. when this happens you can either fight it out or just reload it from the last save, once you have reloaded the last save, load that exact same save again.



It will completely cash out the game and you will once again see respawning allies.

Took a lot of trial and error because, again, it appears only a few of us run into drying up allies (it seems to co-exist with enemy dry ups, so you will stop seeing enemy spawns along with ally spawns. if enemies are randomly spawning still then your allies should be working as intended also).
