So I played on the weekend Baldurs Gate 2 in multiplayer and we we're asking ourselves, why the option was never implemented in DA. Is it to focus the game experience more on the singleplayer experience? Because the narrative of Baldurs Gate 1 was also first-person, so I'm not quite sure. Or was it a question of technical realization? Or maybe the notion, to transform the experience slowly into a more cinematic one?

Well, I think there could be so much possibilities for the game design if you had multiplayer, and probably there would come up millions of problems. But since the coop experience in Baldurs Gate is so outstanding and seems so natural, we just wondered, why Bioware chose a different path with Dragon Age. Especially if you think about how subtle you can tune the mp-settings in BG (who can talk to NPCs who can buy things who not etc.).

I guess, there could be some threads, but it's difficult to keep track in these forums :)

Just found this one http://social.biowar...7/index/1782582, but they are more interested in a Dungeon-Cleaning-typeof-Multiyplayer
