Borderlands, and Dungeons and Dragons Online - simply the best modern D&D experience.
I admire you guys going back to Baldur's Gate... I love that game so much but I can never bring myself to play it for more than a few days - the graphics begin to make my eyes hurt... :-( What I wouldn't give for that exact game in a new graphics engine!
Oh wow a Drakensang player! I thought I was the only one... never finished it, mostly cause I didn't like their spell system, but it sure was a pretty game. I told someone it was what NWN2 should have been... ;-) Hey, do you find this game's (DA:O) systems suspiciously similar to Drakensang? I mean, armor rating reducing damage and defense reducing hit chance...
Man, how can you guys coming off Baldur's, NWN, or Drakensang, or any MMO deal with the complete lack of a combat log? Oui that drives me nuts!

I don't even remember all the games I've played in the past five years. More recently, though, as in the last half year or so - Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate II, Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale II, occasional bits of Unreal Tournament 2004 and Unreal Tournament 3, Neverwinter Nights 2, Oblivion, and some of Planescape Torment (though I've sadly not finished it yet).
So mostly games I'd played many times before, with the exceptions of the last four.

Roleplaying games I played are Planescape Torment, Baldurs Gate 2 + Throne of Bhaal (most memorable RPG ever imo), Neverwinter NIght, Neverwinter Nights 2 + all expansions, Icewind Dale 2 and Knights of the Old Republic. Quite a few of those are Bioware productions as you can see
I played only one MMO ever: Dungeons and Dragons Online, still playing that occasionaly.
Other than that I liked the Tom Clancy games when they still where 'hardcore' which means in my case Rogue Spear and Ravenshield. Also Deus Ex I liked a lot.
And now ofcourse Dragon Age, been waiting long for this one. And I can honestly say I like the game a lot so far, difficulty is ok, story is good, graphics are also decent and I love the combat.
