right now it is no fact but discussed. perhaps we will get this camera angle on pc but while the engine will be dumbed down (environments) to suit the console's limits there is a high chance that the pc version will be resticted in some ways to keep the raw programming small. the same goes for the fighting system - now spells and skills will fire instantly without delay to provide a consolish action style. your fighter will jump through the air to enter combat so you don't have to wait till he runs towards the enemy. that's the jump you see in one of these screens bioware provided.

Those are presumptions at best.

And as for the screenshot where Hawke launches himself through the air: that could either be a finishing move or the dash ability. The improved combat system takes away the positioning delays, it has little to do with jumping around like a maniac. Or at least, that's what the Game Informer podcast has lead me to believe.

it is described by a magazine and the lead designer - now your character literally jumps into combat. presumptions or reality, we will see the outcome ;) right now the screens and the stated facts are pointing more towards the presumptions becoming reality.

ps: the only finisher that is scripted in the playable demo of da2 is by the sister of hawk so everybody is able to see the special blows for wizards.

What do you guys think about that?

Sounds like a genuinely asinine decision on the part of EaWare.  If they release the toolset a bit later after they've had the chance to knock off some of the rough edges, fine.  If not, one has to wonder what they're thinking.  Posted Image

If nothing else, the possible lack of a toolset is terrible for DA2, given how much missing content and bugged content was able to be fixed in Origins because of the toolset...

"Hey, now!", sez EaWare.  "Good for nothing but buying our products dweebs like you aren't supposed to notice that content.  Knock it off, peon!"  Posted Image

Well I keep wondering why they're not giving an answer, it sounds like they can't...

Given that there's no toolset for Awakening, I'd be very surprised if there were one for DA2.

. also there won't be a zoomed out camera angle - including the pc version.

Next time you want to doomsay and spread misinformation as fact, please pick something that hasn't already been confirmed during a number of previews as being in. Right now you're just sounding like one of those old men who stands on the sidewalk and shrieks, "THE END IS NIGH!!!" You've stepped over the line into troll territory. You might want to take a step back and remind yourself to think rationally and neutrally instead of pessimistically.

Awakening didn't require an extra sdk.

Given that the BioWatre staff is very evasive on that matter in interviews,
there is still neither a no or yes on this question.

I 'blame' the silence when it comes to this topic on the pr campaign schedule.
