If it it correct that we can play as a woman, there is allready two major voices... it is only to change use :-)
I dont realy understand why the sex of the sibling should depend on Hawke´s sex in the first place, families with several daughters are not uncommon.
Allowing Bethany to also be male would just generate extrea work for Bioware with next to no benefit for the players.
