Someone who went to the Comic Con said the dlc was set after awakening in the deep roads and one of the companions had a pet Bronto (that could be cool)

I can't confirm that it is post-DA:A, but the part about the Bronto is true. At first it looked like you transformed into the Bronto, but you start out the demo with a spider and a Bronto.

Deep roads with a pet Bronto? *interest piqued*
Any more details you can divulge? *F5*

Could you tell if the player character is the Hero of Ferelden?

You should talk more about this DLC you played
I agree. What is this about new DLC? How come no one else is talking about it? We need details, man!
EDIT - I jumped the gun, didn't realize there was another page of comments talking about the DLC. My statement still stands

Just wish we'd get a story-driven DLC about the Warden during the Blight.
Every DLC so far with the exception of Song and Chronicles is this.
And Feast Day Pranks/Gifts.
And Awakening--"during the Blight", I said. Awakening was good, but it felt oddly stand-alone. Also was $40 and not a DLC.
Most of us got the Stone Prisoner for free, some of us got Warden's Keep. Both of them aren't my perfect idea of DLC since they came out with the game.
So far only Return to Ostagar has been actually available after the release. Leliana's Song, Darkspawn Chronicles, and now this all don't concern the Warden and his/her story.
Not that I think this is the end of the world, don't get me wrong--but still, I'd rather have story-driven DLC.
Awakening was not DLC, as you stated, and it was story-driven and connected to the original game. Prank Day was not story-driven, and Stone Prisoner as well as Warden's Keep were story-driven DLC, regardless of when they came out. Stone Prisoner is cut content, yes, but it was released as DLC because they had the time to do so.
But since all of the DLC is playable anytime during the game, it takes place during Origins. During the Blight.

Any comments on the scenery, enemies, equipment, character names, conversations, etc? @Brevy Miller
I did not play the demo DLC, I was having nice conversation in line witho ther DA Fans. All I saw was an underground area, lots of water, and fighting. You played as a mage, but that was possibly only due to the demo being pre-set. I don't know why it WOULDN'T be your character.

Deeepressing.... Especially the bit about throwing out what didn't work--all the first person RPG elements. And how did the dev not get that the VO and wheel are the biggest issues, not that it's not my warden, or even that he's only human?
I don't think we really know what the biggest issues are. There are a lot of people criticizing the VO/wheel, and a lot criticizing the one origin aspect.

I second this. I would love a pre-Ostagar Warden DLC with a newly recruited Alistair, some of the Wardens we glimpsed in the DN origin and heard about in Alistair's stories, and the chance to have Duncan as a controllable character. That's too good to be true.L0ckd0wn325 wrote...
We still need a Duncan DLC, I'll read the book later, but i also wish to play him.

Yes, tweaking what didn't work, that's what I would prefer to hear.errant_knight wrote...

It seems like the garbage bin is pretty full, which makes me wonder if the devs are talking about the same game we are when they talk about Origins.

edit: "some of the upcoming DLC announcements"? How many is that supposed to mean you're working on? Sounds like a whole bunch. Which I kinda doubt.
