A Gray Warden arrives in the town of Telia to investigate rumors of darkspawn. As he gets close, the sky begins to turn red and black as though this town was a source of a blight. As he arrives on the outskirts of the town he runs into the shattered remnants of the town guard in a chantry. From there thing go from bad to worse.
This project includes a complete story, multiple followers, custom voiceovers, dialogue and cutscenes among others. I put in a ton of work and it shows it. It is a stand alone playable module.
The file was too large to be posted on this website, so it can be found at:
http://www.mediafire...dh7a19r6b2ddgkf

The project page is at http://social.biowar...m/project/3089/
To install the mod you have to run daupdater, which can be found in your Dragon Age/bin_ship/  folder. You can use it to select and install the dazip file you downloaded.
Once it is installed you can play it by opening Dragon Age Origins and selecting Other Campaigns from the Main Menu.
So give the popularity thing a little click on the top right of the project page and I hope you enjoy the game!

Glad to see more playable mods are coming out. Now, if we could only get Bioware to update that side bar of playable modules...

Hey, whoa. Did you do this by yourself? If so, that's amazing. I just played up to where the children are rescued and you are sent after the messenger. (Hpw far through is that?)

There are some definite strengths. A very creepy atmosphere. Action packed. How spunky are those refugee children fighting alongside you?

Just a thought. I first loaded it up with a new player and got my ass kicked by the first group of hurlocks. Then I imported a Lvl 23 arcane warrior and saved the children with only like 3 HP amiss. I dunno. Seeing as how this mod is combat focussed, maybe the create a character thing should give you an appropriate level - like 10 or so? Just a thought.

Good effort.

There is a new version up which should fix the conflicts with the main game. I also reduced the number of monsters to help with the difficulty. Sorry for taking so long to update this. When I finished I was very much burned out on the editor.
