I had Aerie fight a wraith spider and her strength got lowered to 5 somehow. She does not have an "ability score drained" icon on her; she just has lowered strength. This is an issue because she cannot carry or wear ANYTHING or she is stuck in place. I've tried looking in near infinity and can't find any type of special attack by this spider that would do that. What is it and how does she get rid of it?

I would post the weidu log here but am unsure of how to not create a wall of text with it in this forum. Anyone know?

Yes, Wraith Spiders drain 5 STR for 300 seconds if you fail a save vs spells with a -2 penalty. It should display a portrait icon (nauseated), however.

Thank you for the quick reply (though I didn't check it very quickly). I was worried that it was a permanent effect due to no icon showing up on the portrait. Just one of the many minor bugs I've encountered since playing with BGT installed, I guess.

Make sure you're using the latest version of Near Infinity. I currently have v1.33 Beta 20, not sure if there's newer.
Perhaps you already know how to do this, but in case you don't. Load up Near Infinity, go to Search, then CRE/ITM/SPE/STO. Have creatures option selected, then type in wraith spider. Two selections will show up. It appears it's the first one, SPIDWR01.CRE. Highlight that file, then open or open in new window. Click on the items/spells tab in the upper left-hand corner, then from there click on Weapon 1, then view/edit. On that screen, near the right/center area of the screen, you will see the abilities box, within that box you'll see "Melee (1)", which will list the melee effects of Weapon 1 assigned to the Wraith Spider. View/Edit that Melee (1), and you will see it has a Strength Bonus effect. View/Edit that, and you will see that it's an Increment of -5 (some "bonus" eh?), and that it lasts for 300 seconds, with a save versus spell at a -2 penalty. Also you can see that it's NOT dispellable and it bypasses magic resistance (but can be saved against, with the penalty).
You mentioned that you used NE and couldn't find the special attack, so I just figured I'd give you a step-by-step on how to do so, or how to do this for any other creature you may be curious about as well =) I find it can be confusing though, to pinpoint which specific creature you're looking for. For instance, if you search for "Troll" there's at least 20+ "Trolls" listed there.
