Shepard: "I don't need this..."

From ME2, it's a tie between the renegade response to Forvan, the batarian bartender:

Shepard: "Now...Drink it! Drink it, or I'll blind you one eye at a time!"

...and the renegade response to the stock boy in Thane's loyalty quest.

Shepard: Hurry, get out of here before it blows RUN!  *chuckles* I can't believe that actually worked.

I've never attempted that. HECK! I've never done a paragon playthrough. I've tried, but its oh so hard. Renegade is just so tempting

Sadly, he isn't me, but if he'd stop using lady scented body wash and switch to Old Spice he could smell like he's me. Look down, back up. Where are you? You're on a spaceship, with the man your Shepard could smell like. What's in your hand? Back at mine. I got it, it's and oyster with 2 tickets to that thing you love. Look again. The tickets are now diamonds! Anything is possible when your man smells like Old Spice and not a lady. I'm on a varren.

True. Plus, anything based off of Old Spice commercials is pretty freakin' awesome. You should come up with a spoof for the odor blocker commercial as well

Nah....I can't play anything but Paragon. Renegade is....too evil for me. I have a similar issue when it comes to Fable and KotOR. I can't play evil....GMing a RPG, sure I can handle that, because I'm supposed to. But...as a player? Can't play evil.....I just can't.

In most games, i do my first playhtrough as myself. Making the decisions I feel I would make in that situation. Mostly, these are paragon choices, and I make them with the warm contented glow of feeling that I am a good guy. Not saying I am a saint in RL, but I have ideals. In subsequent playthroughs, I do try to roleplay the villain, but I still I find there are some renegade actions that I just can't bring myself to take.

I really think the same way.  I do it as I think I would make as well.  I don't like confrontations and if I can avoid them by talking, I'll do it in a heartbeat.  I'm not a saint in RL either (really...who is?) but I do feel that for me, the problem extends to the fact that I'm just too nice of a guy.

Same here. However, for the most part I find Mass Effect's Shepard character to be more of a jerk than evil when it comes to renegade decisions. For every 'evil' action he takes, there's a perfectly reasonable justification for it (this is aside from the times he's just jerky for the sake of being a jerk). I find renegade Shep more funny than downright evil.

I still haven't been able to bring myself to play a 'renegade' character in Dragon Age, though. The choices in that game just seem more evil than in Mass Effect (2).
