Same here. However, for the most part I find Mass Effect's Shepard character to be more of a jerk than evil when it comes to renegade decisions. For every 'evil' action he takes, there's a perfectly reasonable justification for it (this is aside from the times he's just jerky for the sake of being a jerk). I find renegade Shep more funny than downright evil.
I still haven't been able to bring myself to play a 'renegade' character in Dragon Age, though. The choices in that game just seem more evil than in Mass Effect (2).
Okay....yes....evil was a poor choice of words on my part and I'm sorry for that. But, I do have a problem playing a jerk like how Renegade Shepard is. He's not an Anti-Hero (I don't consider the Punisher an Anti-Hero, either). A true Anti-Hero is someone like John Marston.
Never got the feeling of "evil" in Dragon Age. It was....bad....but not to the extent of evil I've had the option of playing in a previous game (Baldur's Gate II, anyone?).
Still....give me the Paragon option any day.
