The difficulty of reproducing a given character in ME1 after some time is precisely the reason why I created that thread. With a codification system like the one proposed there, it becomes real simple to do so, no matter how long since the original was concieved.

If you have no code whatsoever left of your character, I guess you'll have to resort to the artists' technique of painting a portrait: by looking at (old pics of) the model and compare with the painting over and over again.

Don't forget to codify whatever you come up with!

Thanks Merlin   I tried other hairstyles but none of them looked right. Plus, I RP his as me and a shaved head is what I'd do. The other hairstyles just didn't look right on him.

Ahh...the old "no other hair style looks good" debate.  Yes...I know that one all too well.  I'm rather picky about how a character's hair looks as well when I play him.   The main point is, as long as you like how he looks, that's what matters in the end.

I guess each hairstyle has a potential face which suits it perfectly. But it's not easy to find that face, and the selection of hairstyles is still pitiful compared to games like DA. Femsheps are even worse off with half of the available hairstyles looking identical from the front. An improvement in ME3 on this score won't help those who like to use one and the same character through the whole series. For malesheps in these circumstances, I think baldness is one of the more promising ways to go, since many faces look OK with it.

Would some kind soul mind posting a screenshot of sheploo in default N7 armour, default colours, with the helmet on (not the breather helmet)? I've scoured google relentlessly and can't find a decent large pic. It needs to be fairly large, and preferably with as natural lighting as possible. Oh yeah, It's ME2 I'm referring to, and if possible I'd like the pic to be from about the waist up.



It's for the purposes of wallpaper making. I'll show my appreciation by putting the finished result up here for everyone to enjoy. Much thankies to anyone who can help...

Just noticed this request of yours, Revenant. I might be able to give you a hand with a 1920x1080 pic, but not until after Christmas (around December 27-28), since I'm about to disappear on a journey for a while. If no-one else is able to do this earlier, I'll do it for you then.

Hell yeah, throwing in some more support for manshep ♥ I normally only play as Sheploo, since I kinda find him adorable and prefer the voice acting.
But earlier, since I was messing about with gibbed, decided to make a custom mshep. Now Joker isn't the only man in space with a beard. He's a bit derpy and needs tweaking due to being horrifically pale though. (sorry for the quality, guilty of being too cheap/lazy to get a decent PC)

Jokers beard is awesome. I wish Shepard had the option to have it (Officially), I wouldn't mind it as a love interest either, the love scene could just be Shepard rubbing his beard for 2 minutes.

I'm not so sure about beards for ME3. The awesomeness of manshep coupled with epic facial hair could well be too much manliness for the average system to handle. Still, I myself am a fan of beards, which is the reason I sport a rather spectacular goatee.



Oh, and to yukidama - thanks very much. I'd love a shot of him carrying the avenger as well, if you wouldn't mind, but if you can't be bothered then that's cool. Domar might be able to get that one for me after that Christmas trip. I've had a few wallpaper ideas in mind for a while now, but have never been able to find decent pics of helmeted Shep...
