I'm back. I did enjoy that trip, thanks. Hope you - and everybody else visiting this thread - enjoyed Christmas, tooRevenant_Mortalus wrote...
That'd be awesome Domar, thanks. Hope you enjoy your Christmas trip. If anyone can do it quicker then that's great, but it's not desperately urgent or anything...
So yukidama's generous contribution did not quite fit the bill, huh? Well then, you need to be a bit more specific about the kind of pic you want. If yukidama hadn't come up with that alternative, I would have given you a similar option...

The "natural light" requirements are too vague. If it means "no artificial light", a dark pic sounds OK etc. Then there's the matter of the desired angle and composition, as illustrated by the following images...

I don't normally play Sheploo (I trust a custom-made real marine named Gene to do the work), so I don't have him ready for all available missions, and you might need the light conditions of a particular mission. I cannot supply you with any of those alternatives. But specify the mission or setting which has the desired light qualities, plus prefered angle and composition, and then perhaps I can deliver. Maybe you have some helpful image or drawing that can illustrate your idea here.

Looking for some feedback on this male shep. Used Kaidan's textures -- I'm thinking the stubble beard would look better than the gotee. Hope the picture has decent quality had to print screen+paint to take a screenshot.
He is ****ing awesome. If i knew for sure that altered skin textures would import into ME3, something like this would be my canon shep. Unfortunately i don't think custom faces with other NPC's textures will import properly.

Thanks too! That is my first custom Shepard(usually I play with default or get one from Mass Effect faces this guy was 100% scratch though), and I was pretty pleased with how he looks. I might make him my canon. I still can't decide who I want as my canon romance Miranda/Liara, nor can I choose my canon class between Vanguard and Infiltrator

Glad you liked these "pre-views" of Sheploo in action with standard equipment. Yes, it looks pretty cool, doesn't it? Simple color patterns like a few red details on grey uniform or armor can make quite an impression. I'll see if I can get some good shots with the man firing that rifle as well. I'm quite curious about how Revenant plans to use the final image of it (yet to be delivered, pending more info about the requirements).Mesina2 wrote...

A similar angle to this shot, with brighter light would be ideal. I can't think of any actual missions with the lighting conditions I'm hoping for. At least not off the top of my head (been a while since I played it last). However, Anderson/Udina's office does have pretty much what I'm after, although weapons can't be drawn there but if you can think of a mission with similar light then great. As for the pose - I'd prefer him holding the rifle across his chest, like in the idle stance with the gun drawn, if possible.

I have a few wallpaper ideas, which may make use of some of the pics already posted, but for my first one it's pretty much gonna be along the lines of an N7 tribute kinda thing, fairly basic. That being said though, I think perhaps incendiary ammo would suit it better.
I should have been more specific from the start, so sorry about that, but thanks for all the help. Hopefully it'll result in a nice shiny new wallpaper for people to enjoy...
*Edit*
My bad, I think the idle stance IS looking down the sights. The running animation might work though...

I'm curious about this, too. I know there's quite a few guys who're femshep fans. Probably more than the other way around. But if one gets to enjoy beauty and grace with a femshep career, one gets to enjoy something else with a maleshep career: strength and power, I guess. How would the rest of you guys describe the difference?Badpie wrote...
How many of you Manshep folks are women? Just curious. I feel like there's only a handful of us ladies that truly dig the awesomeness that is Manshep. XD
@Revenant - OK then, I have something more definite to go on. I pic from the angle and composition you showed with overall brighter light conditions. Good. But you plan to cut the image of Shepard out from whatever environment we find here and paste him into a different setting for your wallpapers, right?
I remember seeing Shepard in the pose with him holding the rifle across his chest when first meeting and talking with Ashley on Eden Prime in ME1. After that, my memory is rather empty regarding other occasions. Maybe someone else remember a scene like that somewhere.
But otherwise I'll go for the pose with him looking down the sights. I assume that you with "the running animation" mean that looking down the sights standing still is OK because you wanted the pic to cover the man from the hip upwards, which means you won't see the legs running if he's actually running when looking down the sights.

My sister uses my custom Manshep! She said she wanted to use mine because she has seen me playing too many times to create her own Shepard. She's nearing the end of the game and doesn't want to continue because she's too scared of losing some squadmates in the suicide mission. *sigh* And I bought her LotSB too..Badpie wrote...

I am a woman and I have three ManSheps so far! :3
I don't see much of a difference with the combat (except the obvious differences between playing as a soldier versus a vanguard versus an infiltrator etc). What i notice is different character interaction, which take into account paragon/renegade differences too. I find that in some instances, my FemSheps will respond more angrily, whereas my ManSheps respond with dry humour. Or ManShep will be more calm whereas FemShep is a tad more emotional.
I find I prefer the looks of my ManSheps and try to make them more attractive; with my FemSheps, I have a certain look in mind, and they may not be the most attractive. I will deliberately give my FemSheps scars or blemishes to take away from their beauty (except for one, who I deliberately wanted as a cherubic-looking engineer), whereas with ManShep I try to make them more handsome and won't put obvious scars on them.

It's nice to see that we have females that do play ManShep. I love Hale as a voice actress (I think she's a phenomenal voice actress), but the bolded statement is what I dislike about Hale's performance. Every time I would choose a Paragon moment, it sounded either like she was pissed off or she was all over the place with her vocal tone (she'd go from really high to really low in her dialog). I think she did much better in ME 1 to be honest.
Meer just made it more believable, because he was calm, kept it together and made it consistent. He was tense when the situation required it and was relaxed when it didn't.
Anyway......well done on the ManSheps everyone!

You both have highlighted exactly why I prefer Meer's VO in these games. I'm not trying to start a Hale/Meer war here, as I really enjoy Jennifer Hale's work (but think her performance as Bastilla was better than her Femshep).
As I said in another thread, and as you both have said here, Hale puts more emotion into her lines. But sometimes the emotion feeling she imbues her delivery with doesn't necessarily match how I imagine my Shepard would be feeling. Meer on the other hand, while I wouldn't say his delivery was flat, he is more emotionally neutral. I compare this to C-3PO's facial "expression" - it's so neutral that it allows the viewer to project whatever facial expression they would expect onto it. Meer's vocal delivery does the same thing for Shepard's voice, in my opinion...
