How many of you Manshep folks are women? Just curious. I feel like there's only a handful of us ladies that truly dig the awesomeness that is Manshep. XD

I am so sorry I missed this post (been awfully busy elsewhere for a bit). I am 100% female and a 100% male Shep supporter. *waves tiny Man Shep flag*

C-A close up when legion first spots you and helps you when he takes out a few husks behind you.

:P if u do hopefully with the N7 helmet. Got some awesome fem shep pics from the other thread now looking for male ones.

PS: anyone knows a way to take pics in ur xbox? a device u can buy ....besides a camera and a tripod :P

Regarding screencaps on your XBox...

I've been using the Hauppauge HD PVR. Another member here, ScroguBlitzen, uses it as well to record game playing. Here are some samples:

It's about $250, and it comes with PC capture software. If you're on a Mac you'll need a 3rd party software as a subsitute, such as the one from EyeTV. Unfortunately spending that much money is the way only I know how
to do it. I'm lucky that I have a video junkie friend who lets me borrow his, so I don't need to buy one... yet.

The quality is quite good, but will never be as high-res as screencaps and recordings from a PC. The screencap resoution is 1920x1080, but you need to reduce it 1/2 that size to make it look smoother, which is what I did on mine. Here are some other screencaps, but reduced to 25% of original size: http://imgur.com/IS0i5.jpg

I would love to see more xbox users posting their stuff online, but it does cost money to do so right now. I hope ME3 can built in this feature like the way Forza 3 does it... screenshots, record gameplay and cutscenes, make your own album, etc That would be really cool.

I knew I'd have use for Tony's tip.

As for those other pics, Husky, maybe some other gamer is ready to jump in with a flycam there. I'm pleased to see more and more people using it for greater shots and more enjoyment to us all. ;)

BTW, Husky, what do you mean with request B, "Vanguard pic" or "the dude charging"? What's the difference between a vanguard pic and a pic of any other class? In ME2, the armor (appearance) is the same, regardless of class, so I'm guessing a pic with the dude using powers unique to vanguards? But the dude with a class other than vanguard is OK so long as he's charging? What about charging as in sprinting against the enemy? In what direction?

If you want somebody to help you, be more specific with the info to avoid somebody getting the wrong idea and then wasting his or her time trying to help you out.

All of my own careers are at hold for the moment due to a couple of other projects, so I have nothing going in ME2 right now. Except the Sheploo I used for Revenant's wallpaper project. But he's a soldier. So, Husky, I'm afraid you may need some other guy to help you with your requests.

Let me quote Mark Meer interview

Mark Meer...

Mark Meer (Commander Shepard)- I’d worked on a number of Bioware Games before, starting with Baldur’s Gate II back in 2000 (my part consisted of one line in a cutscene right at the end of the game). I’d worked on pretty much all of their games after that, in some capacity or another (Neverwinter Nights, KotOR, Jade Empire…). At the time I was asked to audition for the role of Commander Shepard, I was already working on Mass Effect, doing some preliminary development work  for them on how the various alien races would sound. I did the audition, and sort of forgot about it, since I didn’t think I had a chance at it, and just sort of assumed I’d get some work as aliens and what have you. Then I did a callback, and another, and then was informed that I had the part! It floored me -- especially when I found out that Jennifer Hale was playing female Shepard. Quite an honor to get to be her “other half”. She’s one of the best and busiest voice actors in North America.

1st somebody find that Balur's Gate 2 line!
2nd I really love how Mark Meer was honored to work with Jennifer Hale. Why the hate for some of you FemShep fans?

It could be one of several lines.  There are a bunch of robed figures sitting around a table with the symbol of Bhaal, discussing the Bhaalspawn.

Here....www.youtube.com/watch what you want starts at 1:10.  I couldn't find just them talking.  I loved this game....and still play it on a regular basis.  It's getting to the point where I could quote the speaking lines just about...lol....

Wait, I think you must have misunderstood. I think some (like, maybe a minority) dislike Mark Meer. But for the most part I think they just dislike his vision of Cmdr. Shepard. That's why they play femshep.

Anyway, I loved that interview, Mark was really funny. And he's a total nerd! I restecpa  respect that! I wish he could've told us all the roles he played

That about more action shots sounds good. ;)

That about the weapon, however, annoys me.  It's one of those things reserved for the few that pre-ordered the game from certain dealers. I bought the Digital Deluxe version of ME2, so I got Zaeed and the Arc Projector instead, but I don't like to be left out on other equipment options available through different dealers. I don't understand Bioware's decision here. They've marketed the thing so that, no matter of your choice in edition or dealer, you're going to miss some equipment. If we're willing to pay for the extra stuff, why shouldn't we be able to get it all (as DLCs)? Bioware has left us all with a somewhat poorer version of the game and game experience than necessary. :pinched:

Sadly, the people that are jackasses about it tend to be the loudest. I cannot stand to play a femShep anymore because of the obnoxiousness of that type of Hale fan. I am so glad that the Meer hate seems to be abating lately.

On topic: here's my favorite custom male Shepard, Zane. And he's a paragon to boot! I don't play paragons too often, but they can be a lot of fun. Note: he's based off of a code I nabbed from the Mass Effect 2 Face Codes site.

It's a shame, really.  :?  I happen to LOVE Hale as an voice actress....but I found Meer's performance as Shepard to be better.  But yes, it is nice to see the Meer hate abating.  It needs to stop, really.

I have 8 Sheps, 5 ManShep's and 3 FemShep's and I plan one more FemShep once comic is released for PC.

That hatred is derived from dissatisfaction of quality and attention between the two genders, and rarely directed at Meer. I need not point in any direction beyond Femshep's little black dress and her frequent tendency to offer everyone a upward view (:P) as a primary example. Thus, you can understand the irritation, although I concede it often is far too irrational and sometimes petty.

Personally, having played both genders. I began to favor Hale yet found Meer did an excellent job. Neither him nor Hale were flawless and it is evident in which particular scenes they shined or struggled. I found Renegade Sheploo during Tali's loyalty mission not only Meer's best overall performance however arguably one of the best scenes period. Likewise, I found Hale trumps him with a Renegade handling on Tali/Legion. Meer came across stern while Hale was frightening.

I have every intention of completing another Sheploo run. Ashley and Miranda need some attention after all. And I have yet to make a custom Sheploo. This must change. ^_^ I am tempted to do a Soldier run with Grunt and Zaeed only just for "We are walking death" fun. :D

Regardless, we can best conclude that Femshep is popluar and Sheploo is popular. Therefore, both are awesome to different people. Shocking revelation! Posted Image

This also depends on what posts you read.  I have lurked in the other threads before and read plenty bashing Meer for being the worst voice actor for Shepard compared to Hale.  But...in response, to each their own.  Yes....there are times I just wanted to cringe when watching a friend of mine play as FemShep and just hearing her talk to Jacob.....ugh.....

Oh most definitely. I frequent Gamefaqs and many are outright vicious for little to no reason. I had one debate where someone claimed Mass Effect 2's voice acting was bad just because of Meer. Ironically, on that same forum Hale is not immune to insults and be cited as garbage in the ME series. They are... a very bi-polar bunch.

It is either a Soldier or a Sentinel. The latter for two reasons, far superior coverage but primarily because you are literally "TeamTankman!" Honestly, what in the world is bringing down that monstrosity of defense? I have yet to play either, so tough choice.

You must do this! One of the best playthroughs I've ever had!
Send Grunt into a large group of enemies, look as the enemies attempt to flee and enjoy as the Zaeed+Shepard sniper combo pick off the stragglers one by one!
I wouldn't suggest this tactic when you're facing Vorcha pyro's though, Grunt seems to go down very easily.

True....that's why I don't go on Gamefaqs to post for that very reason.  It's like you already said - they are both awesome.

JRCHOharry is right; for some reason, Grunt has probelms when it comes to vorcha pyros.  But....if you employ Zaeed's Inferno grenades and a few well placed inferno rounds as a soldier, they shouldn't be too much trouble.  Either that, or snipe the tanks before Grunt can get to them.
