Yes, you made Tuesday a really nice show, guys! That was fun! :D

Hey, how about making every Tuesday a special Screenshot Day for this thread henceforth? What do you say? Should we spend the coming week stocking up on possible pic candidates and then fire away like crazy next Tuesday? So that we may all go... :o

^^^ That pic does have something special. Great one, LizardViking! ;)

@JRCHOharry and Mesina2 - so we're on with the recurrent Tuesday Screenshot Day? Great! Sound quite exciting, doesn't it? :)

As for subjects to talk about until then, here's one from the below observation...

It's a scientist uniform you get on Normandy.
You can have it without any mods and DLC.

[...]

Was that the scientist uniform? Didn't recognize it from that angle.

I find it quite cool that you gave your engineer a scientist outfit, since it's kind of consistent role-playing-wise. A soldier wouldn't wear that outfit, he or she would probably go for the smart-looking alternative fitting a commander of the fleet. The infiltrator or vanguard might go for the tougher street-casual option, whereas the adept and sentinel might prefer the default cerberus outfit. Style-wise (not logo-wise).

Or how would the rest of you guys gather the different classes would pick for casual wear from a role-playing perspective?

For me it depends on personlaity I created for my Shep's.

My canon Mario Shepard has commander outfit since he is great Commander( for FemShep canon is kinda vice-versa:?).
My 1st Renegade( or Renegon?) Bruce Shepard has default outfit, fits better then any other outfit.<_<
My pure Paragon Tom Shepard has suit from Kasumi loyalty since he is gentleman.:police:
Worst import for ME3 Johnson Shepard has that stupid looking street casual outfit since he's ruthless and an idiot.
My latest ManShep Ubel Shepard has scientist outfit since he is evil German pro-Cerbrus scientist dude.

Mostly from a role-playing perspective. My Shepard (soldier) wears the usual Cerberus outfit. When I had some mods installed I wore the Alliance uniform until post horizon, when Ash essentially "dumped" me, my Shepard just said "Screw it, I'll stick with Cerberus", and switched over to the Cerberus style uniforms. Same for my armour as well, it was alliance style Red and dark grey at first, then after Horizon it was shiny black and yellow.

I liked the street casual outfit for my Infiltrator, Jamie Shepard. It seems like the kind of thing he'd wear while he and Garrus are tinkering around with the Hammerhead trying to make it less explode-y and more...useful. He's a very practical person who'd prefer wearing something he can work in, stain, and generally abuse over something more formal.

I'm a 360 player, so getting pics of my Shep is not easy. I decided to experiment with my ipod nano, and it does a better job a getting a good image than a camera.

Also from some interesting tidbits, I decided to do a look back, so here's a sort of evolution of his appearance.

Popping in with the pleasant surprise of discovering a man!Shep thread...my canon Paragon Sentinel Shepard is hopelessly in love with Liara, wants to talk her down from her SB perch, and hopes to spend the rest of his life working alongside her in archaeology/exploration and having "lots of little blue children." (He's a Colonist/War Hero. Wants a family. Go figure.) Image IPB

I can see my Shep getting hitched with Ash, but settling down? Not a chance. He's the type that lives for the thrill of the fight.

Actually a few of my Shep's are already married.

Imagining the yelling tht's going to occur when they go back home is hysterical.

Ah poor Shep.

But settling down. Nah. They'd just wander the galaxy together.

I can't picture any of my Shep's settling. And kids...oh noes.

My ManShep and Miranda both live high-octane lifestyles, and more importantly, they LIKE that kind of life. Miranda thrives on challenge, and my ManShep is a class A adrenaline junkie. I think the conversation would go something like this:

Anderson: You know, Shepard, at some point you're going to become too old for this kind of stuff, like me. You'll have to settle down eventually.

ManShep: D8

Miri: *snicker* Perish the thought. I'll just rebuild him if that ever happens.

ManShep: 8D

Oh, the functions on this site.....:pinched: Hang on while I'm doing some editing...

Done editing.

First things first, maybe I should clarify my idea about Tuesday Screenshot Day. I did not suggest we'd all post several pics all at once on such a day, but single out the best we could find from a week's run of the game. I think it would become a more striking show if ten guys post one character pic each, one quite different from the other, in fairly quick succession, than, say, two guys posting five pics each of their one fellow. Don't you agree?

Right, I forgot the party outfit from the Kasumi loyalty mission! Yes, from a personality perspective, then certain choices in casual wear seem more appropriate than others. And according to your character descriptions, I'd probably pick the same outfits as you did.

Right, an infiltrator seems apt to choose the street casual outfit, doesn't he? Maybe for practical reasons of the sort you mention, since an infiltrator ought to be practical in order to do his job. But also because he'd like to blend in well with the crowd, wherever he goes, or his job to infiltrate something is likely to get harder.

Tell me when your guys have finished tinkering with the Hammerhead, so that they send over the modification plan, because I sure like to have it less explode-y, too. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/crying.png[/smilie]

Yes, that would seem natural from the personality perspective, too.

But if we forget the personality angle, guys, and stick to what would be expected of people belonging to a certain class to wear, what would that be?

I like it! The image of Sheploo in action is very well captured here. And the Mass Effect 2 logo gives it authority. But what are Miranda and Garrus (I presume) doing? Where's this scene from?

Well, look at what happened to James Bond back in the 20th century on Earth! It's only a matter of finding the right woman, see. But it would be very difficult, morally, if the world needs him. What would you have done in his place?

I think at this point it's an excuse for him and Garrus to drink their respective compatible alcohols, hang out, and cause minor explosions in the cargo bay more than anything else :D

It's kind of ridiculous how much FUN playing ManShep has been.  I do play more female protagonists than male (about a 60-40 ratio), but ManShep is just too funny.  My FemShep was my serious, more dramatic playthrough--my ManShep gets to be Crouching Moron Hidden Badass, Bunny Ears Lawyer, Jerkass with a Heart of Gold, all those more fun tropes that I never got around to using before.  It's pure win.

Oh, easily.  Tali and my Shep may not be able to have children naturally, but yes.  I can see him settling down somewhere with her perhaps.  Or....maybe I can convince her and Garrus to stay on with me as my Shep continues his Spectre career for a little while longer.

EDIT: Actually, if my Shep isn't quite yet ready to settle, I can see him still commanding the Normandy for just a little while longer.  Then, I see him somehow convincing Garrus to settle down as well.  My Shep needs his best bro wtih him.

My Shep has never really thought about it.  He's married to the Alliance and his career.  He thought, kind of in the back of his mind that something not this might be nice someday, but he's never really pictured himself as a husband and father.  He can't.  He's too busy.

He can picture himself being happy with Ashley.  Beyond that he has no plans.

In my hopeful timeline for them I just figured they'd get together, do their thing being soldiers and then one day years down the road a surprise pregnancy would happen.  They'd be really happy, but wouldn't have planned for it.
So I guess eventually I can see my Shep "settling down" though I don't ever see him taking himself out of important matters - maybe just out of the line of fire on a daily basis.

Yeah.  I could picture one of my Shepards settling down with Ashley, if given the chance.  He's a commander right now, or at least he still carries that billet.  I suppose if he is reinstated into the Alliance, if that's necessary, then he'll be flag officer material in no time at all.  Why not retire and settle down and do something else for a change after we've defeated the Reapers?

It's from IFF mission whe you meet Legion first time.
