Topic: can anyone here picture their Shepard marrying and settling down? It's kind of hard for me to see my male Shepards doing that.

I think my Shepard would settle down after a while. I think after the Reaper invasion (if he even survives) he'd eventually quit the Alliance/Cerberus and just live on a small settlement with Ashley. Helping out the colony.

But if we forget the personality angle,
guys, and stick to what would be expected of people belonging to a
certain class to wear, what would that be?

Hmm...
Soldier = Cerberus casual or renegade outfit
Engineer, Sentinel & adept = Scientist outfit
Infiltrator & Vanguard = Cerberus Formal/Kasumi's loyalty outfit.

Here's a new Shep I made from Scratch (in ME1) thoughts?

He actually looks pretty decent from a side profile (unlike most of my Sheps) Image IPB

Aizen Shepard

Infiltrator

Paragon.

Looks good, Ryzaki He has hardened war hero look to him, yet he just "feels" like an Infiltrator, if that makes sense?

I like it.... I finally got Edmund into ME2...but I keep changing his looks.... and I really really really hate going through the entire intro to do that...

Thanks. I sort of see what you mean. I was trying to give him a "seen a lot of horrible things but came out on top." look but at the same time not too indimidating and badass. (He's a Colonist/Sole Survivor).

He's supposed to be an renegon. Someone who will chew you out for doing something stupid one moment but make you feel better about it the next. (Also someone who if you see him looking at you through the scope of a sniper rifle...well that'll be the last thing you ever see.

Thanks. Ah yeah I did
that to. It doesn't help that ME2 has the longest prologue ever and you
have to sit thorugh it each time you decide to change your PC's face :/

He seems like a renegade and a sole survivor.  Renegon huh?  Interesting....I don't quite see the Paragon in him (perhaps flashes in his eyes), but I can see the Renegade quite clearly in his facial expressions.

Okay that was pretty funny. Those two are awesome.

Though yes he is a renegon. It's pretty hard to see though. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

Huh, I just learned that Mark Meer is the voice of the Experienced male elf in Dragon Age. I think I may have finally stumbled upon a reason to actually play as a male elf.

Good because his renegade is pretty solid. Hell I still argue Sheploo's renegade dialogue throughout Tali's LM and especially at the trial's conclusion ranks high in best voice work in the entire game.

Hmmm, I don't think they would want to interview him... I doubt Vanderloo knows anything about Mass Effect other than he modelled a Commander Shepard. :P

My Shepard would pull a Revan and disappear into the galaxy with his love interest. There are plenty of great places to go and be secluded.

The next best thing would be to settle somewhere but make it a crime punishable by death to bother me. That way I can just kill any annoying journalists, paparazzi, or politicians looking for endorsement.

Tell me when your guys have finished tinkering with the Hammerhead, so that they send over the modification plan, because I sure like to have it less explode-y, too. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/crying.png[/smilie]

I think at this point it's an excuse for him and Garrus to drink their respective compatible alcohols, hang out, and cause minor explosions in the cargo bay more than anything else [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

I take it that those "minor explosions" in the cargo bay are from the Hammerhead still coming out too explode-y...
I better send them some beverage that clear their heads...=]

It's kind of ridiculous how much FUN playing ManShep has been.  I do play more female protagonists than male (about a 60-40 ratio), but ManShep is just too funny.  My FemShep was my serious, more dramatic playthrough--my ManShep gets to be Crouching Moron Hidden Badass, Bunny Ears Lawyer, Jerkass with a Heart of Gold, all those more fun tropes that I never got around to using before.  It's pure win.

I have a similar experience with the reverse, the male character being my main career (60%), and the female careers (40%) being less serious but oh so much fun. It's a nice touch from Bioware to allow us to play the game from both sides of the gender fence. :)

If you made that guy from scatch, you're really good. About as good as randomer18, because your Aizen and his Scott could be twins.

I think I like this one better than the last. Because this image is more focused, and cleaner, with less distractions around the central subject. Makes for greater impact. ;)

But is it really in 5000x3125 resolution? I'm using 1920x1080 and it seems bigger than that image.

I'm guessing this shot is too identical to m4walker's wallpaper image on the previous page to be deliberate, making it a remarkable coincidence, two guys thinking exactly the same thing from different directions. But it serves well to illustrate the importance of the details on a pic. You have Tali in lighter clothes where m4walker had Miranda, and you have Miranda in darker clothes where m4walker had Garrus. Somehow this makes for a background that distracts somewhat less from Sheploo, IMO. So I think I prefer your version of it. ;)

Now, guys and gals, as time is drawing near: are you ready for TUESDAY and the OFFICIAL MANSHEP SCREENSHOT DAY? B)
