Nope, the only thing I did was crop the image down to a forum-friendly size. That's during Garrus's loyalty mission; it's when he's gesturing to Sidonis and Garrus is setting up.Domar wrote...
That is a strange expression! Haven't seen it before. Where's this from? The expression aside, I like the mono-chromatic style of this shot. Have you edited it in some way?

BTW, what's this "rape-face" thing about? Can't recall having seen anything that I could interpret that way.
Sheploo's infamous rape face during Miranda's romance path.
The only editing I did with the Sheploo images was to crop them for size. However, the image of Cort Shepard I lightened up a bit because it was just a little too dark for my liking. That particular image was taken when he was talking to Veetor on Fredom's Progress (which explains why it's got that orangey-red lightning to it).Domar wrote...
What a wonderful moody pic this is! Did you use Photoshop or something to get it like this? Otherwise, where's this scene from?
All of your three pics have a special atmosphere, and I'm curious how you got them like that.

I see. Well, it sure is a rather ugly face, but it requires more than that for me to interpret it as bad as a "rape face". Don't like to jump to conclusions. What happens immediately before it, what is it a reaction to, or what is he saying while making it?TS2Aggie wrote...

Sorry for misunderstanding you, JRCHO. When you referred to greed89, I thought you did not stand by this name yourself. But if you do, your original coinage of this event stands, of course, so I have edited myself accordingly.

Proves that he doesn't look like Arnold in this angle. :-(

My canon Mario Shepard looks like a badass again!

Johnson Shepard thinks about how much he is f*cked in ME3.

Hmh... Muffins.

Thanks Miranda for loaning me grana... eeeh?!

Bruce Shepard is still drinking since I only have few screenshots of him. No, seriously I really need to take more screenshots of him.

Why are you smiling?

Oh, that's why.

What?! I want to get some sleep. Geez, fine I'll do it.

I loved my armor. It's so much made of awesome!

Guess which class in TF2 is my favorite one.

Dear Lord, Jacob why are you ruining this great shot?!

Never mind I'll go back to sleep. Having Jack in relationship is tough and since my ex-girlfriend is Shadow Broker is not very comforting.

Regarding your pics, OK, thanks for the explanations. Haven't played ME2 that much yet, so I have difficult remembering all the details. So the middle pic is from what scene?
Middle pic is from the end of the game when Shepard has given the Collector Base to TIM.
It's during Miranda's paragon romance path. He's saying: "Who said anything about love? I'm just trying to get you into bed." *wink wink nudge nudge leer leer*Domar wrote...

@Mesina2: Awwww, Ubel! I just want to go up and give him a hug in that second pic.

Now that I got a good view of your shep, I must say that he looks like a tough cookie. A character worthy of the role as Commander Shepard. Great work!
But is the pic from the dance floor in ME1 showing the same character?
That explains it. The only character of mine who's reached that far into the game made another choice regarding that base.TS2Aggie wrote...

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Aggie. Never went down Miranda's romance path. I still think the "rape face" interpretation, the association to something forced, is unwarranted (too harsh), and says something more of the person who chose to paint the image in such descriptive colours (if one wears dark glasses when walking around in life, everything seen must be described in dark colours, even if it's a bright day) than the game devs intended to show with that scene. We must remember that the face animations in ME1/ME2 aren't that well done, and often come across as weird or unnatural.TS2Aggie wrote...

I agree with Sable Rhapsody regarding the top pic in your last row of shots, Jean-Luc. Your HD texture mod enhances the impact of that image (as soon as I enter the world of ME2 again, I'll be looking for that mod of yours!). But I think my favourite pic among those which you have shown is the one above. You've caught Sheploo walking like a bear or something there. Yeah, those screens were "decent" alright. Thanks for sharing.JeanLuc761 wrote...

So the Tuesday Screenshot Day is over. Let's sum it up. It lasted for about 30 hours. My "Tuesday" started about when Aggie submitted her contribution, and ended when I submitted my last post. Lots of other people are bound to live in different time zones, which accounts for the prolonged duration of "Tuesday". I was hoping to see at least ten contributors, and called that humble expectations. Thanks to generous contributions, people visiting this thread got to see a lot of nice shots. But the turn-out was rather low, in fact less than the first "Tuesday Screenshot Day" that came about spontaneously. Now I fear that the only thing massive with such a day will be my misjudgement about its potential. Considering the default configuration or main target group of customers for this game (those who fancy a sci-fi adventure role-playing as Sheploo), the number of true manshep fans seems remarkably small. But there's one thing that goes against this idea. In the last month (of January) alone, the speed of this thread has increased about 250% compared to previous months. This is a better measurement of the actual fan base.
Still, it might be best to go back to the ordinary run of things here, when people submit things whenever they feel like it instead of waiting for special events, however special those events could be. That's my interpretation of it all. If there's someone out there who's convinced differently, I think he or she better handle the matter from now on.
Special thanks to everybody who participated on the Screenshot Day! I still think it was special fun.
Over and out.

I don't think it's about how many contributors come to the thread, but how many of them posted pics. And on this page alone, we have a lot of awesome looking Shepards! For a little event we created on the fly last week, I'm surprised how many people actually did post! Hopefully as the word spreads we'll get more screenshots. Hell, for this event alone I booted up my PC ME2 for the first time in months just to get some shots!Domar wrote...

Thanks Domar. I have taken literally hundreds if not thousands of screenshots.. but I'm afraid most of them aren't that good. Since this is a manshep thread, heres a few on the current Shepard that I'm playing. I wanted a Shepard for each of the 6 classes.. but I ran out of inspiration on what his name and his appearance should be.. So anyway..here goes.
Please critique them and let me know where I can improve on!
Name: Titus Philips Shepard
Origins: Spacer
Psych Profile: War Hero
Alignment: Renegon (Makes you realize how lame the perusasion check in ME really is)
Liara! I'm coming for you!

Get ready for an electrifying experience...

Running again.. this time from certain death. I don't think Cerberus has the funds to resurrect me twice...
