Edit: OK, everyone, largely due to Ryzaki's spontaneous suggestion about "Monday Screenshot Day" a while back, we have this TUESDAY SCREENSHOT DAY here on the Manshep Fan thread. All are invited to participate with screens of their malesheps then. The only requirement that we seem to have agreed on is that it should be a pic that's never been presented before (i.e. it should at least have been taken from a different spot in the game). So, ARE YOU GUYS READY FOR THIS?

That seems quite challenging... there have been so many screenshots in the past that i think most spots/angles have already been done to death..   Oh well... here is my attempt at contributing something for Tuesday Screenshot day.

I meant some spot YOU have never shown a pic from before (not a spot no-one has ever covered with a pic before). There should be plenty of those for even the most diligent player/screenshot taker

This guy does not look like Mr Average to me, far from it: more like Mr Powerful. One of the better portrait shots I've seen, I like the framing and everything. Great one, Aurica!

You always seem to have a unique artistic touch in your screens, Aggie, giving them a special atmosphere. Gets me thinking: "I've never been to that place! Where's this mystery outdoor place? Gotta go there!". This time Cort appears anxious about something, looking down on the ground, as if he just learnt something disturbing about the mission. Christ, what happened in the Lazarus Project for this guy?! I think they made a mistake when they hired Dr Frankenstein as an assistant.
Joking apart, I think this character has an unsually strong presence about him. A heavy-weight character.


OK, let's see if I can find something of interest. Just started a new career with Gene, like I mentioned before, to better reflect his troubled background...

The unshaven chin suggests he does not care about himself, or the way he looks, or trivial things like that anymore. His mind is preoccupied with the self-imposed mission to catch the bad guys responsible for the slaughter on Mindoir and similar tragedies. He has also grown stronger in physique since last time seen around here, as indicated by a more powerful jawline and some other minor changes. Thanks to Aggie and her topic about personal history, and our discussiuon about that, I think I've got a better canon maleshep than ever.


For the first time, I'm playing without film grain turned on. Makes for greater clarity in the images, but at the cost of some atmosphere. How do you guys prefer it?

I like your shepard, quite a looker I must say.  He reminds me a bit of Kaiden but just tons more manlier.   Do you have the face-code?

I like Gene's first SS, your description is pretty apt and it does look like he is reflecting on something.  Btw is this taken in ME1?  I can't seem to recognize where that is.

Yes, the screens are all from ME1, and it's right after Shepard has been asked to meet the Captain. I just played around with the flycam from new angles there, moving him a few meters here and there in the small area at the Bridge, where the light changes a lot between spots.

Here's another moody one from that area, with Gene looking out the window at space, starlight on his face, and his mind far away, perhaps on his late family, or wondering what the new turn in his career will take him...



Speaking of angles, have you seen this one?



Note the crewman fixing something on the Mako (enlarge). So there are things going on in the game which we may never see - unless we use the flycam!

There's a reason he reminds you of Kaidan: he's using Kaidan's textures. :-P  The face code is:
