Well, it's Tuesday and I happen to sit on some rather interesting shots...

Here's Gene seen in relaxed mood onboard the Normandy...

But on Eden Prime earlier, things were far from relaxed...

big trouble approaching...fast!               a heartbeat from death                          loading the big punch

both graceful and resourceful                 mean business                                        side-stepping for the final nail
Posted Image            Posted Image            Posted Image

But now he's on the Citadel...

Posted Image

...and things get worse there...

that's it, honey, hit that wretched thing!     still dancing with death                     finally Gene's doing

Some time later, the battle of Chora's Den about what kind of drinks to serve...one less to bother anyone

There are some great pics on this thread. I love my MShep(and my FShep) and he does need more love.

Here is ManShep with Ashley, a cheesy render I did in MAX. Sorry it's not a screenshot.

Oh, I also wanted to ask if anyone has done one of the side missions where you investigate a Quarian shipwreck and have to fight off varren? You get to pull off a nice side-kick on one of them. I'll post the screenshot later today.

^^^ I like that pic, too. Matching colours and few distractions with some tension in it, since it's obvious he's looking out for enemies ahead and don't want to expose himself to them. That orange light in the background works very well for the blur, since it suggests a heat source causing the air nearby to heat up with an effect like that. In short: a good atmospheric shot.

I wonder how you would sound like if you ever thought a good pic was really ruined by blur...

So what version of the game have you been showing pics from earlier, JRCHO? I thought PC all the time.

BTW, (i'm not that familiar with ME2 yet so I'm wondering) is that pic a flycam image? I think I bet it is.

My earlier pics have all been from the PC version, but they were either really old shots or abandoned playthroughs. But now that I have more time on my hands I can finally start playing ME2 to the fullest again! Oh and the shot isn't a flycam image (I wish it was! I still haven't downloaded the mod yet!). It's on Grunt's recruitment, right after Shep + co step out of the shuttle, as he is standing up. It barely lasts half a second so I'm lucky I even got the shot :P

I've done that mission once, once. It's the best damn side mission in the game imho. I can never find it. Is it from the vendor in Illium?

OK, here's a couple of other screenshots I got:

I love that mission too! Anytime Shep gets to kick someone I'm happy. :-P  It's actually an N7 mission: Hades Nexus/Sheol/Gei Hinnom.

I always like seeing pics like this. Nothing to sorry about. As far as I'm concerned, anything graphical goes. ;)

So you've taken two different shots from the game, cut the figures out, and then pasted them into a different file together (but the sizes look just right, so I wonder how you went about getting them like that)? If so, you seem able to get a rather nice poster or something out of that with a tasteful background...

A screenshot is coming our way, you say? About a side mission on a Quarian shipwreck? I'm not sure I've seen that one...

@JRCHO - I did hesitate using words like "obvious" and "I bet" regarding that pic of yours, but now I had another lesson. Nice show with the other shots. :)

Still no flycam? You're missing out on some other good ones....

^ ^ ^ The upper poster is really tasteful and well done, making a rather strong impact. But I don't know enough of Half-Life 2 to compare it with ME2 in any other way than both being sci-fi games, and ME2 being somewhat more "natural" or "believable" as far as opponents go. So I'm afraid the idea of putting the two together somehow does not give me any particular associations.

The lower poster is pretty cool, I think.

Well, it's Wednesday, soon to be Thursday, and I still happen to sit on some rather interesting shots...

If you guys say so, I'll post them next week, otherwise tomorrow, i.e. on my Thursday.

No, they are 3d studio max renders of the in-game models.

For example, here is one of Ashley dancing like an Asari "stripper"

and here is another ManShep to keep my post on topic.

Oh, I see, well that explained things. With all models of the game available like that, I can imagine you're having quite a lot of fun. ;)

But you could still make posters of that stuff, couldn't you? I should think pretty interesting ones as well, as you seem to be at liberty regarding poses and gear.

Well, yeah you could do a lot of things, with some work and experimenting.  It doesn't all translate over easily though.

Nice vid. Seems like you got a good manshep there, silentrunner. The appointment to Spectre is one of my favourite moments in the whole game, too. Liked the bagpipes.;)

Thanks for the thought, Nick. Someone else has already been of the same mind regarding both links, I think, the former a couple of pages back, resulting in a change of the OP and all. Barring certain mods, I believe that first vid is the best fan production which I've seen for any game. ;)

FemShep is actually a lot of fun. Her voice actress is great and you get slightly different dialog with a femShep than you do with manShep (including one bonus renegade interrupt, as I recall). It's just some of the batsh!t insane femShep fans that have ruined her character for me.

Try her out! I think you may actually come to like her. Plus you'll get additional dialog with male LIs.

I use my femshep for all the wrong reasons. Get most of the team killed, don't upgrade ship, get Tali exiled, sell Legion to Cerberus etc. She's like a living experiment for me lol, I use her to test out all the hidden gems in the game that my Manshep couldn't find.
She's a good V/A but as Lux said, I still prefer MShep.
