why is there still no multiplayer or co-op?? im like most people in that i DO NOT want this to be a massively multiplayer online game, but i believe it would be much more fun if it was a multiplayer game in the sense you and say 3 of your friends can do quests and fight bosses together. does anyone know is there is possibly a expansion to make a multiplayer or co-op option or anything like this in the future? i have not talked to anyone yet that doesnt want this to be a multiplayer game and am just a little confused as to why it wasnt made into one i mean theres still definatly alot of time to change but i dont know, any information at all will help, thanks.

Really? So you think adding in a multiplayer component to a game is as easy as flipping a switch? You don't think is any actual development needed, no extensive testing, you think the developers would happily work for free to make sure the game has co-op, knock it out in a few hours and have a beer. Come on dude, it takes time and money and games have set budgets, the more you put in one area the more you have to subtract from another. Adding a multiplayer component isn't something BioWare can knock out in an afternoon.

I see, so then tell me what aspect of the game would get detracted? Again games have set budgets so obviously some aspect of DA2 would recieve less funding in order to implement a co-op feature, what part do you feel would end up suffering as a result?

Diablo 3 will be around soon enough, then there is Dungeon Siege 3 coming out at the same time as DA2, get your MP fix there. DA 2 is a single player RPG.

what, i never said any part of the game would suffer???? aside from the time and effort put in to creating the game as a co-op, the only thing i could see as a problem would be choosing who is team leader so they get to choose who says what in the rpg aspect of the game.
