Hello,

For the first time since I bought this game in november 2009, it does not log me in automatically.

The game claims that I am not connected to the Internet (go figure). When I check my character profile here on Social and click on Profile Diagnostics it says Invalid game/persona combination, what is that? I can't even enter my password in the game and try to log in manually, the Log In button is greyed out.

The game and online profile has worked flawless for me up until this point.

I was playing just an hour ago, decided to take a break, shut down the game and now this error has appeared.

Any ideas on what to do?

this is the main problems with games that requirer online log on to be played... I have always been skeptical towards this kind of "anti-piracy" because I want to play my games even if I am off-line... especially if I have my game on a laptop and don't have an internet connection...



sure, I can still play my game, but not with any of my DLC active... but that just ruins it!



*sigh* well, I guess you can't win against this progress... let's just wait and see when the servers are online again...

I wish more games took the Good Old Games view and just give up on DRM.

It doesn't work and all it does is hurt the people who try and play legitimately.

Word. And it's not made any easier by a couple of people on this forum who respond to people asking for help with a testy "Learn how to search the forum!" Many of us do actually know how to do so, but sometimes the answer isn't under precisely the wording you think it is. F'rinstance, I couldn't find any info under "EA servers are no longer available", but "login" got me here.

The same thing is happening to me. I was tried to do the manual log in but the message keeps popping up saying, "Can not find ' DAUpdater.xml' please contact Tech support.  If I cant Log in, in the game, but at the Social site all is fine, What am I to do?  Any suggestions?

I have a similar issue. I try to login and I get a error: 'The EA servers are no longer available."

Its working for me again. The game logged in as usual, about an hour after I posted my message.

It's still not working here.  It hasn't since I tried Downloading some DLC on Saturday.  And YES I've gone through the website and FAQ areas followed the instructions.  And YES I am waitng for feedback from tech support.

Today is Tuesday, and after dropping off and picking up all the kids from Band camp and Football, I was able to finally login via the game. Don't know know what the techs did but sent them a note thanking them. LOL

I'm also getting the problem, "EA servers are no longer available" and I've had the game since release. Better yet my promo content is all gone bar Soldier's Peak.

Honestly, this is pathetic. What's the point of paying a lot of money for a legitimate copy of a game, if you are only going to get jerked around by DRM.

Does any one know if patch 1.04 fixes this? Or if Bioware is even looking into this at all?

Is this still happening? Unable to log into the web site from within the game?

yeah its still happening and I don't even know weather or not Bioware and EA are taking this seriously. I have been checking around the web and apparently this is or was happening for a few other games that required connection to an EA server as well.
