Summaries are shorter, more compact overviews of a larger idea or piece. Basically, just a way for others to get a brief look at what you want them to know, and they can do further reading/research/etc. if they want to know more..oOKyeOo wrote...

The Skesis:

The corrupt rulers of the planet Thra, having inherited it from their benevolent predecessors. The Skeksis culture favors repetitive flamboyance, emotional pettiness, and a wasteful attitude toward life. Though they are capable of forming alliances, they are by nature extremely paranoid toward each other, making them uneasy to befriend.
The Garthim:
sixeleven.co.uk/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/garthim.jpg
The imposing, tall, bulky, crustacean-like creatures known as the Garthimm are protected by a tough exoskeleton or carapace, who shamble on tentacles and brandish sharp crab-like claws. The Garthim also appear to be at least partly mechanical in structure, although this is unclear. They make a series of clicking noises which could be either organic or synthetic. Their eyes glow purple which could relate to there association with the Dark Crystal.
The Gelflings:
images.wikia.com/muppet/images/4/45/Gelfling.JPG
http://images.wikia....7/Gelflings.jpg
Slender humanoids with pointed ears and protracted facial structures who originally populated much of the world of Thra. Gelflings have similarities to both elves and halflings. Female Gelflings have butterfly-like wings that can be folded to fit easily under clothing. These wings can be used to slow a long fall to allow for a safe landing, even with the added weight of a second Gelfling holding onto the first.
The Gelflings once had a flourishing civilization, as seen in the ruins of one of their cities in the film, and had a system of writing similar to hieroglyphics. The Garthim likely played a major role in there species decline.

just came up with a new idea, but im not sure how much popularity it will gain:
i just recently re-watched the movie: "The Legend of the Dark Crystal", and thought how neat it would be to have some of the creatures implemented into NwN.
I wholeheartedly endorse anything to do with getting some Dark Crystal into any game. One of you talented people around here need to get off your butt and start work on this, like, posthaste now. The dorfs and poor people can wait.
Seriously. Now. :shakes fist:

Edit adds: I'll be out of town at the end of the month. So any new poll themes that come in after today will appear on Sept's poll instead of August. That way I can send Karvon (who will be handling the poll) the information before I head out of town.
More edit adds: Forget the previous edit, I apparently forgot how to use a calendar there for a bit.

i might considre the Dark Crystal theme to include anything related to the world (Thra), so i might go back and edit my summary to include more such as: more creatures, landscape, Augra, and the Skesis castle as a few ideas...

If I had a toolset I would make a module based on that masterpiece. I have done some prelim work on that a way back.
For Skeksis I planned to use the hook horror model or the type I demon.
For Garthim, Umber Hulks.
Mystics are a bit of a problem with no new model I could only think of bears.
Podlings can be based on gnomes and gelflings on halflings.
If we want to use exotic creatures like Landstriders and Nebries they will have to be modelled.
I have already created Jen, Kira and Aughra as PC/NPC.

- Making one map.
- Creating a blueprint for each new piece of content.
- Displaying that blueprint somewhere on the map.
- Sending the finished demo module back to me for posting to the Vault.
Any takers? *extremely hopeful look*
-- Mistress, would actually adore -=any=- ongoing help with managing the CCC stuff.

@Jenna - That is a BIT too close to the "New Helms, Hats, Hoods, Hair Accessories, or other head decorations" theme you suggested that was done back in Jan/Feb, doncha think?
