Besides.... we already know that Anders is Wynne's son! (Never trust information in a Necro'd thread)

Isn't he a bit young? I mean if Wynne is in her 60's and had her kid during her misspent youth wouldn't he be in his late 30's/early 40's by the time of DA:O? Alistair looks around the same age as Cullen and she tells him she's old enough to be his grandmother.

She told Alistair her son would be about his age. So the kid was probably less from her misspent youth and more from an accident while older.

you could be right, wynne may have been with child in her 30s instead of her youth.

You can't be a mage to trigger this, since it comes about by him saying Wynne is the first mage he's ever liked. Other than that, I don't know why you never got it.
Which is kind of silly and unfortunate, as they could have made a variant dialogue that accounted for mage PCs. I know for a fact they did for one dialogue, in which Alistair states that Wynne is his "second favorite mage," implying that the PC mage--in this case, his lover--is his number one favorite.

I looked through the dialogue on the wiki (which I acknowledge may not be complete), she tells Alistair she likes to think her son would've grown up to be someone like Alistair. She never says they would be around the same age.

I've changed my mind. Greagoir is the father, because that's so much more amusing.

Although it still doesn't mean she had the child during her misspent youth. It could have been almost any age, really.

so what do i tell her son??
Well seeing as you are not playing the Warden in DA2, I assume you wouldn't have to tell her son anything as you probably wouldn't even know who wynne was.

I dont have the actually dialog but if this is true than Wynne could not have a son no more than the age of 30.

That depends on what is meant by "fairly young." That is so vague that it doesn't tell us much of anything. Also, I would love the actual quote in which Wynne states that she is two decades older than Leliana (who, by the way, Wynne tends to infantalize to begin with).

Wynne: Yes... yes, that is possible. When I was your age I was just about ready to take on my first apprentice.
Wynne: In hindsight, perhaps I should have waited a few more years. I was arrogant, my confidence bolstered by my youth.
Leliana: It is so hard to imagine, seeing you now.
Wynne: Oh, I've had some two decades or so to grow mellow. Believe me, back then I was quite... prickly.
Leliana: So you are like a fine wine, yes? Losing the raw edges over time?

A preachy brainwashed mind-slave sounds exactly like Wynne. Being a Templar, I'd expect they'd be the same Chantry apologist whiners. The only reason I never killed Wynne is because my canon-Warden believed that any help in any form without being detrimental to others will help in the battle with the Blight, and thus he spared her.HTTP 404 wrote...
haha, I doubt they would make him like Wynne especially since he was raised by the chantry. I would like to think that he could be a Templar but not whiny like Alistair.

When someone asked if he was going to write any more books (I think specifically for DA II), he said this:
