I think it's safe to say that Wynne is not the mother of any Warden PC.

Ya'll, Gaider said in another thread that he's writing a book about Wynne's son. So all these questions should be answered.
Link or quote, please? Or at the very least, which thread?
Although, to be completely fair, I don't know how serious he was when he hinted towards this.

A preachy brainwashed mind-slave sounds exactly like Wynne. Being a Templar, I'd expect they'd be the same Chantry apologist whiners. The only reason I never killed Wynne is because my canon-Warden believed that any help in any form without being detrimental to others will help in the battle with the Blight, and thus he spared her.HTTP 404 wrote...
haha, I doubt they would make him like Wynne especially since he was raised by the chantry. I would like to think that he could be a Templar but not whiny like Alistair.
Besides, Wynne essentially was raised--at least in part, by the Chantry, since the Chantry is in charge of the culture of the Circle.
Another point, though--not all male members of the Chantry are templars.

Maybe he wasn't serious. I don't, which is why I wanted a link, so I could determine that for myself (I hadn't heard this "rumor" until just about now).

NO!! I don't recall Wynne had any relationship with anyone. So I modded Wynne appearance to look a lot younger and attractive.HTTP 404 wrote...
I think it would be cool to see Wynne's son in DA2 either as an NPC or a companion to Hawke. Wynne converses with Alistair and talks about having a son, giving him up, and imagining him to be like Alistair. Both are the same age.
........You know we had this few "intimate" moment together.

when I wrote that initially, I knew a whole lot less about hawke and even less about his family and companions. Since then, its quite possible wynne's son could be alot older than Alistair and could in all sense and purposes be just a chantry priest and nothing more. A cameo or reference to who Wynne's son would be nice. I guess it would be too much of a small world otherwise (companion, major character, etc.)

I've played the game 6 times and this is the first time I am hearing about any son o.O anyone have a youtube link of the conversation?
You can't be a mage to trigger this, since it comes about by him saying Wynne is the first mage he's ever liked. Other than that, I don't know why you never got it.
I know this is old but.... this is incorrect. Wynne tells you about her son even if you are a mage.

I can confirm that you get this dialogue as a mage, which is a bit odd, seeing as I thought Alistair liked me. Then again, he probably met Wynne at Ostagar before I came along.
David Gaider says, "Well, the thing is that Anders isn't his first name, either. It's a nickname (his family is from the Anderfels)." from http://social.biowar...11895/3#6639653
Also, the Wiki states that Anders was taken to the Circle as a teenager. I suppose it's possible by some convoluted imagining that Wynne or the child's father is from Anderfels, and/or that she was sent there to have the baby. I don't see the resemblance, though.
I liked Wynne. We had some very interesting conversations. I think it's ageism to dismiss her immediately. I had fun getting away with all sorts of things, and then she'd admonish me, and I'd divert her attention onto some other subject. Her banter with Zevran was hilarious, too, and she saved our party on numerous occasions. I missed her in DA2.
I'm sure bringing her grown son into the conflict between mages and Chantry would yield all sorts of interesting plot directions.
