After having installed bg2 fixpack, slayer form doesn't upgrade. Smeone got a workaround?

Huh, so it does. Well, I guess that kills the recommendation to install Ascension before the G3 Fixpack until the latter is updated to implement its trivial fix in a less destructive manner.



If you want to fix it locally you should be able to do so by copying e.g. setup-ascension.exe to setup-ascensionfix.exe and copying this code into a empty .txt document and saving it as ascensionfix.tp2

Sorry, the only part I understood is the one about  making an empty text document filling it with the text you have given me.
And for the other? What does eg stand for?

Copy the file setup-ascension.exe and rename it setup-ascensionfix.exe.

You somehow copied an old version of the weidu program and it fails to update itself. Exit the setup-ascensionfix installer and run setup-ascension.exe and exit as soon as you are able. That should update setup-ascensionfix.exe and fix this issue.

As you can see, your executable is called setup-ascensionfix.exe.exe. You may find it helpful to change your Windows settings to not hide file extensions. You do that under "folder options" but I don't know what it is called in Italian.

I extract ascension into my main folder.

I rename setup-ascension.exe and I make it be setup-ascensionfix.

I make a txt file called ascensionfix.tp2 and I fill it with:
