Every time i order or buy a mass effect poster they always have crush damage, holes, rips. It was pretty bad when i recived my posters in a childs player charity auction with a signed copy of the xbox 360 version of mass effect 2 and all 6 posters that came with it were damged and the seller told me that's how they arrived and that they were told by bioware or whatever to still sell them in that condition. I deciced to order another mass effect 2 movie style poster to get a better quality poster and see if if that would end up better. I was wrong when i found the exact same damage direct from the store itself. I'm not asking for a refund or exchange or anything, I'm a nice guy and i'll just buy another once i see some better quality control of the poster shipments, It's just that I don't like buying posters that are shoved in the package and damged when i'm paying 10-15 dollars for them. I just want to bring it to your attention so future posters won't be damaged for every diehard mass effect fan here that loves everything you guys do.

When mine came damaged I contacted them and they offered replacements... but even the replacements were damaged, so... I just gave up. I passed up on the Dragon Age posters just in case the same issue occurred.
I'm wondering if they're damaged before shipping...? All the ones I've seen have it only on the bottom edges/corners.
When I ship posters, I roll them up in paper wider than the poster itself and then loosely wrap the paper inward at the ends. This isn't really a good way to store them (especially if the wrapping paper isn't acid free), but when I ship and when others have shipped to me this way, they have never gotten damaged.

Hey Guys - We're working on our poster shipping methods to try to reduce damage. We're currently wrapping all posters in plastic to try avoid some of the bumps and creases that occur. As research we ordered 5 posters from 5 different companies and only one arrived without some sort of damage around the edges. We're continuing to try to find a better method to reduce damages even further. We appreciate the feed back and we're dong our best to address it as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
J

You know what would help, Jedi? Cloth Wall Scrolls instead of regular posters.
I'm just sayin...

Cloth Wall Scrolls
You just said the magic words.
There ARE some bootleg ones on eBay, but.... bleh. Crappy quality printed from low-res images, from what I hear.

why not just roll the posters up and ship them in size appropriate tubes like the previous rounds of Lithographs were shipped?

You have to try pretty hard to damage a poster that's rolled up in a tube. I prefer getting prints shipped in tubes anyway, they're easy to flatten again and they usually don't get damaged.

I hate getting posters in tubes. I won a signed Bioware poster a couple of months ago, and the bottom edge was crumpled up, probably due to the packing process. Glad to hear that Bioware is looking into improving their packaging.
