Hello:
Newbie question. My work laptop has the acceptable requirements for the game; however, my home laptop has half the MB requirements for the graphics card (PC is 4 years old), and the minimum for the memory. Can I purchase the game for my work laptop, install, register, and play, and then after I am able to purchase a new PC for home (probably around Christmas), can I move my files over to the new PC? If so, will I have to re-register? Can this be done?
If anyone has any insight, please let me know. I found some vendors that still have the Collector's Edition!!!!!!
Thanks.

@ Bzombo. Thanks! Is it just as simple as moving the "saved" folder? I seem to recall playing BG that it had a saved folder. Left the gaming for a while; but, I saw some commercials for this game, and read a lot on line, and it piqued my interest.

For me on Vista it creates a Bioware/Dragon Age folder in My Documents which contains all the user data. Placing this on your new machine should do the trick.
*small edit*
That will also include all your settings, which might not be a good idea to transfer onto a different machine with different specs.. Its probably best just to copy over your "Characters" folder in that case, which is located in the Bioware/Dragon Age folder.

Thanks. I still have XP on both machines; but, I have to assume it is the same. I am VERY excited about this game. I tried the flash version online and it looks to be a blast. Thanks to all who helped out. Hopefully I can do the same in return.
