My first experience with New Game + was with Chrono Trigger which was mostly there for the variety of endings you could get.
.
Yes, CT 's NG+ was interesting, but more of a novelty. - Jump in any time to see what the alt ending would be depending on when you fight the boss"

Part of the fun is the struggle, I suppose it appeals to our hunter gatherer instinctsor something. Once you are as good as invincible, whats the point in killing for money and xp? What will be the motivation.
See Demon's Souls, Vagrant STory
You don't become invincible at all, the world is even more powerful, you just have good gear and abilities to deal with it now.
It wouldn't work in DAO for 2 reasons
1. broken level scaling
2. DAO devs have NG+ and think people are crazy WoW addicts for asking for it.
Bioware is correct in DAO NG+ would be pointless, but they don't understand the reason why is not because of the user, it's because of the flawed scaling/leveling system

For at least two origins, it's actually riches to rags to riches.Herr Uhl wrote...
Not really. In ME it makes more sense since you're supposed to be elite at the start, but DA2 seems to be a rags to riches kind of story.
Completely false. There is a level scaling bracket for each zone. If upon a first play through, said zone would scale between 12 and 16, then upon the second (say, +20 levels), it would scale between 32 and 36. It would be the same exact thing.Gaxhung wrote...

You probably haven't played DAO Awakenings have you? Leveling scaling is broken
