I don't think this is the ideal place for me to ask this, but I'm hoping you guys will be able to help me as I'm more familiar with this forum.
Okay, when logging in on the main EA site, it says that my account, which was made on the 12 July 2009, is unverified. When looking at my Hotmail inbox, I don't see anything about a verification mail or something, nor do I do I see anything about it when looking at my profile on the EA site in my language (Dutch).
For all intents and purposes, though, it appears to be a fully functioning account: I have played Battlefield 1943 (for which I believe I initially created the account), Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 on it, it's linked to both my Gamertag and my Dragon Age: Journey character (as well as the DAO character creator) and I'm pretty sure it's somehow linked to this account as well.
However, if I change my locale to the US and try to go to my profile page, it says that I need to create a so-called EA Master ID:
"Hey, we noticed that you do not have an EA Master ID yet! Let's create one for you."
Could this be why it says the account is unverified? If not, could it be because I have not yet entered a shipping and billing address? Or is it really that I somehow missed my verification mail almost a year ago and that it somehow got in my spam folder and was eventually deleted?
Please advise me what to do.
EA account unverified?

So I went ahead and created an EA Master ID, clicked on a button to send me a verification mail and then verified my account... after a whole year. I don't fully understand why the account itself wasn't the Master ID or so to speak, but I suppose such a complex system is somehow necessary with that many things to link it tto.
For future reference: the "unverified" message doesn't go away until you logout and then login again, so don't freak out if it doesn't appear to work.

And now neither my Dragon Age: Origins nor my Mass Effect 2 games (Xbox 360) can connect to the servers. Brilliant. I'm hoping that this is just temporary and not that I messed things up real bad.
Edit: Apparently uploading characters thought the DAO Character Creator still works, let's hope it was just some server maintenance that prevented me from getting on those servers earlier.
Edit 2: Nope, neither BioWare game nor Battlefield 1943 has working online functionality on my Xbox. Just great. What a wonderful account system.

I really remember to have been sent an email to verify my account. But I could request another email if the first one got lost somehow (or expired). This happened during the creation of the master account. Sometime last year or even before, EA merged several accounts and forced you to create a master ID.
And all then registered accounts need to use the same email as the EA master. They are registered by this as far as I know. Linked to your master account automatically. If I remember correctly, you can also manually add IDs but I think that I've never used it. (My EA master account name, BioWare account and Sims user ID - and Spore ID - all are different.)

Thanks for replying. I don't remember ever getting such an email before today, nor the necessity of creating an EA Master ID back then. I specifically made a seperate hotmail account for all EA related accounts, because some guys on a forum I regularly go to were having trouble. This BioWare account I made a little while afterwards with the same email, on the 31st of October according to my hotmail (back when we had the old forums).
Creating either another EA account or a new Gamertag isn't an option, either. The Gamertag has nearly 30.000 Gamerscore and has around 300 euros worth of DLC and Arcade games attached to it. The EA Account has Cerberus Network, the Stone Prisoner, most normal ME2 DLC, some DAO DLC and a few promo items for both games linked to it.

In case anyone cares: I contacted EA Customer Support through one of those Live Chat thingies and he helped me get things up and running again. All games once again connect to the online servers and all (promotional) BioWare DLC appears to be still attached as well.
I have to admit, it truly is one of the best customer supports I have ever used.

Ah. Good to hear. You not playing any BW games would be unimaginable.
