So I'm stocked to get the figures that have been announced already. for those that don't know D.C. Direct is making a series of figures containing Duncan Morrigan Loghain and a genlock. With the ME figures they only showed 4 figures but now you can see there are 2 more added. So I'm wondering if there will be more DAO figures. Even more so I want to know if we will be getting Dragon Age 2 figures.

It seems if they do we may get a Hawk figure which I would think is awesome. I really like his design. So is anybody else gonna pick up the figures?

I'm still waiting for an Alistair one dammit. He's more popular than Duncan or Loghain. Especially more popular than a genlock.

yeah I want a some of the originals aswell. I can't wait to get my hands on them.

Edit: if they do an Alistair figure I hope he is in cailins armor. I think he looks epic in it.

Honestly, who's decision was it to pick the characters for the figurines? I understand Duncan and Morrigan, but Loghain? You think they would have picked some of the more popular characters. And what's with the random genlock? No archdemon? No Allistair? No Lelianna? I think they could have done better than that.......

I like his king armor from Awakening...I think that's more fitting.

I'm guessing they picked characters that would be more appealing to guys. So no female-oriented LIs (to start with anyhow).

I wish the quality were better. I collect figures but I'm picky about the modelling and paint job and these just don't look very good from what I've seen.

I think with Loghain and the Genlock they wanted to throw in some villans. I don't really know if I'm going to get the Genlock considering it is going to be out of date with the second games redesigns. Loghain I'm all for because I loved him in the first book. Still I think I would rather a sten or Lelianna. But who knows maybe if they sell well we will get another set.

Action figure lines never have all the most popular/important characters in the first wave - who would they make next if they did that?

My guess is that Wave 2, assuming we get one, will consist of Alistair, a Hurlock. Leliana and ... hard to say who'll take fourth spot. Could be Zevran, Oghren, Sten or some non-companion character. (Although now they've made Duncan I'm not sure who'd be significant enough to get their own figure.)

In any case, I have these on pre-order and I hope the line continues.
