Here you go! *Possible spoilers*

Edit:
Here's the Kotaku preview, which is less spoilerish

This definitely looks interesting...

Is this going to be another standalone DLC module, or are we going to be able to use our Warden?

I played it at SDCC and got to ask a few questions. The BioWare guy said that you can indeed import your warden. It will be in the "Other Campaigns" like Awakening. I'll also echo what Joystiq said: It's hard. I'm playing the main campaign on Nightmare and this DLC kicked my ass on Normal.

Edit: typo

Ooo. This looks interesting. If we get to play our Warden/s I'll give it a shot. Otherwise I'll probably skip it.

I've always played DAO on Nightmare from the start. They should have had a trophie for that. Im looking forward to this new "hard" play. I found Nightmare not that bad to be honest. I mean if you take your time and not rush you can do fine. Yeah my very first play thru of the game i died a few times on certain places but for the most part Nightmare wasnt Nightmare. I never once lowered the difficulity.

This is all FANTASTIC news!  I'll definitely be getting this when it launches.  Thanks for the info!

Meh... at this point I appreciate they're bothering with new stuff for Origins, but if its just another DLC totally divorced from moving the Warden's story forward, then meh. Still, I'm looking forward to see what sort of DLC Origins has left.

Can Import your Warden? Hmmm . . . which Warden, the Origins or Awakening Warden? I would assume you could import either since not everyone would have bought Awakening. Then again, that would be quite a level gap - level 25 Warden vs level 35 Warden with new skill/talents/spells and tier 9 items. Or perhaps the difficulty scaling in this DLC takes that into account.

Much to think about and definitely more than I expected . . . looks good so far.

The BioWare guy I talked to said you could import from DAO or Awakening, and that this DLC is geared towards higher level characters.

Are these DLCs going to be available all together as a pack in the future? I'd prefer to grab them all at once (and save $$$...) than replay the game for a little dlc everytime they come out.

During the part I played you have a dwarf, the dwarf's pet Bronto, and a Runic Golem with you.

We'll have a lot more info on this VERY soon - but yes, you will be able to continue your Warden's story (either from Origins or Awakening).

I too am hoping for this...or if not this, then at least a 'Game of the Year' edition, with the original game and all the DLC.

Mike Schramm...
One of my companions pointed out in text that it had a face, but I didn't actually see it.

Does this mean there are no voice actors?

I'm all for the Warden coming back but I'd like it if he got the chance to rejoin some of the old companions instead of constantly being shuffled around with noobs. Curious though- if this happens after Awakening, then wherever this takes place (Deep Roads?) is where our Wardens "vanished" to after Awakening's epilogue?

I'm interested in seeing how it will advance the Warden's story if it's combat-focused. Hopefully nothing to do with the calling.

I think "combat focused" is not a great way to describe it. It is not Darkspawn Chronicles. It is more in-line with what you would play in DA:O or Awakening, with voiced party member conversations, story, etc. The comment about your companion having a text line is the same ambient dialog system you've seen in DA:O/DA:O-A with all subtitles on (e.g. party banter), but i'm guessing the VO was too low to hear at the show.

But it is purposefully hard - we even added an achievement for beating it on Nightmare - and it is set on a new dwarven thaig. I suspect that's where some of the "combat focused" comments may be coming from.

Will we be able to take our loot/rewards back to the main campaign? (Either trough the same mechanic that's used by Leiliana's Song/Darkspawn Chronicles, or some other way.)

I really hope we'll get another spell/talent tome, that's much more awesome than standard loot. :)

I'm okay with this.
