the only view i can get is first person,  i would really appreciate it if someone could explaine to me how i can get a top view like diablo or ultima online

sadly not really, best you can do is tilt the camera with the right thumbstick, but it is too close to see much of the area.

unfortunately (i am pretty ticked about this) you can only go in to a birds eye view on the pc versions of DA:O

I know quite a few gamers who use unsupported controllers on the PC because the game feels better playing that way instead of using a mouse.

Also, the bird eye view is not all that great on PC. Bioware should have added 2-3 additional views that are activated on console by pressing the right thumb pad. This would move the camera angle further away from the PC. Even one additional view with slighly more viewing would have been helpful.

It would still me a lot more helpful when it comes to casting spells and stuff because i find that the majority of the time it is hard to tell where you are casting spells like revive. Man i wish i had a high end pc to play this game on.

I would not want the isomateric view, never liked it, never will, even on the rare occasion it was used on consoles back in the day (like smash tv and such) if PC has a boner for it good for them, console has it's own styles, glad to see DA2 realizes this
