I love Bioware. Have done since BG. I finally got round to ticking off the last main campaign finale this week (my secret companion save was called 'I hate myself'), and I was even one of apparently the dozen or so people on the planet who enjoyed the NWN1 main campaign. With that said, I have some (oft-repeated) concerns about DA2 that I feel are reasonable.

The dialogue wheel:
I love voice acting, I love voice-acted player characters, and I thought they added a great deal to the mass effect games (which I love). However, a great strength of DAO was being able to read (for instance) the sarcastic PC responses in some increasingly leftfield conversations - as good as VA would be, there's a lot of DAO dialogue (and Alistair is a great example) where being unable to choose your full response would lessen the sense of involvement in the conversation. It seems like the wheel options will be limited to a stance and a brief summary; I'd have loved to hear both sides of the 'raised by dogs' dialogue, but I'd also like to know exactly what I'd be saying beforehand. I'm sure you lot will handle this with more care than Obsidian's Alpha Protocol, and more precision than the ME team; even so, I worry.

Same-sex romance:
I'm a gay man. Same-sex romance options aren't a deal-breaker in an RPG - I realise they're very rare outside of DAO and Jade Empire - but they add a huge amount to my sense of immersion, particularly when I feel a personal connection with a romanceable NPC.
* I wasn't wild about Zevran's bisexuality being presented as a result of his training, or the stereotype-serving model of gay sex being a product of lust rather than love.
* I felt Alistair scanned brilliantly as a vulnerable, sexually-confused young man whose most affecting dialogue was divorced from the romantic plotlines (such as his 'don't say that!' defence of the Warden against Goldanna).

I do understand that cleaning up the plot is more important than fanservice, but I'd hope you can add believable same-sex romance options to DA2; I don't think it would have hurt Shepard, I don't think it would hurt Hawke, and given the joining ceremonies in the Sims, I don't think EA are the stumbling block. I've been impressed by everything David's said on the subject, but I think it would be a small mercy and only a very minor spoiler if the devs could confirm or deny the presence of same-sex romance plots for Hawke in DA2.

With these points made, I'm desperately looking forward to DA2 and will buy it regardless of literally any dev choices I can think of. Roll on 2011!
