What part of the game are you on?

How far in are you?

What's your difficulty set to now?

Who are you using as squadmates?

What's your class/stats?

What are you doing that's getting you killed?

Strangely enough, I found Chora's Den harder than Eden Prime. For you, I'd recommend either cheating or persevering until you win. Good luck!

Are you taking cover?

That tends to help.

I just left the citadel for the first time.

I ended up on a ship full of biotics.

What's your difficulty set to now?

Normal.  I don't want to play on casual because it's just too ****ing easy.  But I don't want to get stunlocked and killed over & over again.

Who are you using as squadmates?

Wrex & tali.

What's your class/stats?

I have the first immunity but it doesn't work for **** against biotics that just knock you down and kill you.

What are you doing that's getting you killed?

Biotics, thresher maws, everything ****ing kills me.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD.

CAN SOMEONE RECOMMEND ME A BUILD THAT WILL NEVER, EVER EVER EVER LOSE ON NORMAL MODE?!

SOLDIER WITH IMMUNITY STILL DIES TO BIOTICS THAT JUST KNOCK YOU DOWN THEN SHOOT YOU FOR 10 SECONDS.

Send your squadmates ahead, use grenades on biotics, use spacebar-pausing to order squadmates which targets to shoot.

That biotic ship is one of the hardest parts in the game actually. You might want to get someone with Dampening talent (Kaidan maybe) and/or "crowd control" (lift/singularity) to disable the biotics before they disable you.

It would help if i could refill my grenades somwhere but there isn't a grenade refill station on the ship.

I don't pause games to win, I have zero interest in doing that. I like to fight in real time.  I will never hit spacebar.  They should be smart enough to do their own thing.

I posted them at the door but they just both died, then the biotics knock me down and kill me.

****.. i hate the combat systems bioware makes. I really do...

Is there anyway to use charm without having to put points into it?

I heard there is a way?

I think that is what is causing me to lose.

The build that never dies on normal?

Have you tried the one where you practiced until you were good enough to play a game like Mass Effect?

Also, the assumption that the AI is good enough to do anything without some tactical control is beyond the capabilities of the coded AI. You're not going to get very far if you're unwilling to use the squad controls. Just think of it as a sort of...quick reaction time. Equivalent to telling a squadmate next to you to do something.

I'd hate to see how you'd react to Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. o.o

NO i refuse to pause.  Pausing is for cowards.  I might as well press escape and go watch a movie during combat. It's a ****ing stupid concept.

I probably shouldn't, but:

Edit: In all seriousness... chill out. It's a game. Games are supposed to be fun.

Sorry, but pausing is an integral part of combat.  The game was made with the intention of you pausing it to select your abilities and to command your squad.  Yeah, it's a shooter, but it's also a bit more tactical than the rest.

That's probably why I'm dieing.

I refuse to pause.  If I'm going to pause I might as well play a turn based game.

I don't see a middle ground.

Pausing is for cowards.

I guess I have to play on casual mode. MOTHER ****ER I"M NOT lkjdfalksjdflkasjdflak CASUAL hajsdfhasdf

Buddy, settle down.

Pausing isn't for cowards.  It's an element of the game that is intended by the devs to be used as a normal part of combat.

Also, don't let yourself be defined by your difficulty settings.  It's just a game.

Charm is a dialog-only skill. It plays no role in combat, though not spending points in charm or intimidate can lead to fights.
