What part of the game are you on?
I just left the citadel for the first time.
I ended up on a ship full of biotics. What's your difficulty set to now?
Normal. I don't want to play on casual because it's just too ****ing easy. But I don't want to get stunlocked and killed over & over again.Who are you using as squadmates?
Wrex & tali.What's your class/stats?
I have the first immunity but it doesn't work for **** against biotics that just knock you down and kill you. What are you doing that's getting you killed?
Biotics, thresher maws, everything ****ing kills me.
I agree about biotics. They were a real pain in the first game, something Bioware noticed and fixed (somewhat) in ME2. My advice is to strafe frequently against biotic opponents. Their attacks have a wide radius, too, so you'll want to constantly be moving around the field to keep their aim sloppy.
This, of course, is tough to do on the biotic ship mission. What I did on the lower levels was leave two close-range squadmates by the door to the main room (Wrex and Tali should work fine, though replacing Tali with another biotic might help you with crowd-control) and enter by myself. I fired a few shots to get their attention, then backed out as quickly as possible and took position behind cover in the previous hallway's intersection. They should all follow you and crowd up in the doorway, leaving them wide open to full-auto assault rifle fire, shotgun shells, grenades and biotics. If you have the Asari squadmate, (which it doesn't sound like you do) her singularity ability is perfect for crowd control.
If all goes well, you should be able to eliminate the majority of the group without getting stunned once.
As for Thresher Maws, stay at a distance and strafe back and forth to avoid its acid spit. Abuse the cannon. They're pretty much bullet sponges so it's just a matter of waiting them out.
Upgrade your grenades/ammo frequently, too. Chemical rounds are fantastic against Krogan, Cryo explosives render most enemies' weapons useless on higher levels, and a sniper equipped with high explosive rounds is like a miniature tank in the palm of your hand.
Also, you're on the right track with Immunity. If you're getting killed a lot, focus on increasing a single weapon skill and acquire as much damage protection as possible. By level 25 your Soldier should be extremely efficient- by level 40 it'll be a tank.
