Barring any further DLC/expansions relating to it, my MHN spends his years searching for Morrigan. He never succeeds in this and, ultimately, submits to his Calling. As he's dying amidst a score of darkspawn corpses, Morrigan appears to him -- though whether she's real or imagined he has no idea -- and stays with him as he passes beyond the veil. The end.

Leonin Amnell never did anything worthy of mention past the blight. Alistair had become tha martyr hero, and Leonin had no problem with letting him have the glory. He settled down in Denerim, where he tried to woo Liselle, the Orlesian merchant, with mixed results. Mainly because Leonins way to woo is excessive stalking. After a while he adopted a gambling habit and started loosing a lot of money. Leonin died not so peacefully in his bed due to a pointy stick being stuck through his eyeball. Investigations never found the killer.
I think this is my favorite 'ever after' Warden story, ever.

---In the Universe Next Door---
Emlin Brosca, after months of trials, pain and bloodshed, proved to the castes that a casteless dwarf wasn't worthless. Crowning Bhalen and slaying the archdemon secured her position and the first casteless Paragon. Alistair played figurehead and rally simble for the people of Fereldan while his wife Anora actually ran things. In time. he came to care for Anora, but he never forgot about his first love, the dwarven woman who saved Thedas at the cost of her own life. He never found out about Morrigan's offer, and never thought much of her abandonment before Denerim.

Despite being unpleased with Anora's attempts to overshadow him, he remained patient and sought to get closer to her thanks to his charm and suave. He grew to like her a lot and admire her, though his heart remained Morrigan's even after her dissapearance with his child. But he knows how to fake love and eventually, Anora started warming up to him. Though it's not clear if she loves him or not, even to her. The couple remained heirless for some time, which caused some friction between the two. Arcturus pondered at the idea of a Cousland heir to the throne, but his sympathy to Anora caused him some hesitation. So he opted for a more patient and understanding position, until the time where the Monarchy could no longer afford being without an heir.
Arcturus and Anora's cooperation ushered in what is considered to be a golden age, with the expansion of trade, the creation of a navy and the building of a university. During his visit to Orzammar, celebrating the retaking of Kal Hirol and honoring its casteless defenders, Arcturus' ally Bhelen presented him with a helm forged in the old thaig as a gift, symbolising the alliance between Orzammar and Ferelden and the respect Bhelen and Arcturus have for each other.
Arcturus Cousland was mostly satisfied with his life, but could not bring himself to forget about Morrigan and his child. Despite his accomplished and impressive exterior, his heart remained forever stabbed by the thought of his love. For many years, he would sneak out of the palace at night and wonder off on Denerim's shores, reliving his fond and bittersweet memories. Forever haunted by the uncertainty as to whether he will ever see her again.

Gherlon the Blood-Risen was born casteless. He would later venture to the surface only to come back and win the throne of Orzammar.
My canon is Aunn Aeducan who wasn't sure who to put on the throne (of Orzammar, the Ferelden one was easy as she just married Alistair and Anora and made sure to keep the King safe by sparing Loghain) but after meeting with both Bhelen and Harrowmont she came to the conclusion that Bhelen being on the throne would not be in her best interest and so she crowned Harrowmont. She was shocked when Bhelen decided to not play it smart for once and bide his time shoring up his support until Harrowmont died 'of natural causes' and he could be King then but committed suicide along with half of the Assembly by attacking her.
Once the Blight was over, Aunn stayed in Ferelden for a month wrapping up any and all Surface business she might have had and then returned to Orzammar where it took her so long to convince Harrowmont to let the Ferelden army into the Deep Roads that they had already been held up at the gates for two days before the King relented. She had no interest in playing Arlessa when she had a decimated House desperately in need of rebuilding and so Anora, who subtly let the First Warden know that no matter how much having an Arling meant to the Wardens she didn't have to actually let them have it, appointed her father as Arl.
Aunn had never wanted children in the first place so she was more than happy to name her nephew Endrin her heir and when Harrowmont died her status as head of House Aeducan, a Blight ender, the only living Paragon, and the daughter of a prevoius King as well as the fact she was close to the last King, had killed off most of her political opponents in the coup, and the Assembly wasn't entirely convinced she wouldn't do it again was enough to make her his successor. She was a successful monarch although she didn't change as much as her brother would have and was eventually succeeded by Bhelen's son when she went to her Calling.
Note: If anyone (particularly Knight, Costin, and possibly Herr) wants to tell me that I ****ed over Orzammar by causing Bhelen to commit suicide then I'd like to remind you that I still have those pictures.

After the architect was brought down and stability returned to Ferelden, Maheron would spend most of his time running around as a diplomat, and friend to various courts and peoples. Going between Denerim, Orzamar, the Dalish, Amaranthine, and the Bannorn he tried his utmost to foster some unity, so as to avoid a repeat of the blight.
Being with Leliana caused outrage in some conservative places, but Maheron hoped to show people that elves and humans can live toghther, and be equals. Knowing most of the major players in Ferelden allowed Maheron to head off some troubles, and after a while he started to slowly move out of the light and let others do their own parts.
Around 15 years after the blight ends, Maheron was seen taking a ship to Antiva with Leliana after giving a fond farewell to his clan and the court. Later sightings of him ranged all over Thedas, and tales were often told of an human and elf who came to the aid of people for years to come.

Brownyn was the first to have the dreams return...as they did with a vengeance. She told her King it was time for her to go to the deep roads. True to his word that they would always be together, he did not let her go alone. They abdicated in favor of their nephew and disappeared in the Deep Roads and became legend.

Arcturus Cousland continued to rule Ferelden with Queen Anora, as her prince. His position as King Consort and commander of the army was augmented by the fact that he was also the Teyrn of Gwaren and the brother of the Teyrn of Highever (the only 2 Ternirs belong to the Couslands), in addition to being extremily popular. So despite her initial efforts, Anora never could completely ignore or deny him. He on the otherhand was mostly satisfied with the power he accumulated and never tried to strong arm Anora into doing anything (but rather persuade). He was content being her second, as he admired her and thought she was a brilliant ruler / administrator.
Despite being unpleased with Anora's attempts to overshadow him, he remained patient and sought to get closer to her thanks to his charm and suave. Snip/ Arcturus' story
Will Aurora's ending be this bittersweet, or just straight up tragic?
I think it's more tragic than bittersweet.
Aurora was much more devastated by her family's murder than Arcturus was and she was literally falling apart. Then of course, she met Alistair and this changed. She initially came to see him as a brother, but this quickly (very quickly) changed and they fell in love. In that regard, Alistair saved her and pulled her back up, even if he doesn't realise this. She then met Morrigan and came to see her as a friend, a feeling that was slowly being reciprocated. As more and more companions joined in, Aurora was feeling more at home and found in that something to distract her from what happened to her family.
This feeling of belonging, of having a second family, made Aurora shine and reveal her Cousland brilliance in leadership and her strength of will when it comes to fighting for those she loves. She saw her companions as friends first and foremost and was loyal to them, despite disagreements and differences (minor and major). As a result, she expected them to treat her the same.
But then, Aurora's candide view was brutally crushed, when it came to the Landsmeet. She tried but could not bring herself to kill a father in front of his daughter, as she experienced the same. And for that, Alistair abandonned her. She couldn't believe it. So much so that I don't think she even cried for a while because of how much she was in shock. I think she expected him to come back. And when she needed a friend the most, Morrigan also abandonned her when she didn't get what she wanted. That was the turning point.
Aurora became "hardened". She forced herself not to care anymore as she could not afford to fall apart. She began to saw her blind loyalty to friends as a weakness and substituted this for loyalty to herself only. I rp that during the final battle, she recieved a big scar on her face / eye, which she saw as a reminder of her loved one's percieved betrayal. Before, she was willing to sacrifice her life for Ferelden, friends and duty in a heartbeat but now, she refused to die and sent Loghain to his death. Not because she wanted to redeem him, but because she came to hate him and wanted him dead because she thought he cost her Alistair.
She became highly ambitious, making herself the Teyrna of Gwaren and attempting to restore Cousland glory. But she refused to marry or love, because she began to fear attachement. She became ruhtless as a result and this shows in her short time as Arlessa of Amaranthine.
The only one who could have saved her was Nathaniel Howe. She was attracted to him, but quickly killed her feelings for him and treated him with a certain disrespect and disdain, apparently for being a Howe (in reality, because she feared she was starting to love him, thus in her now twisted mind started to hate him).
She never had a good relationship with Queen Anora and they frequently clashed, but Teyrn Fergus was always there as a peace maker. Though Aurora rejoiced that her brother was still alive, they became distanced a bit. She became paranoid that even Fergus would betray her, so purposely distanced herself from him. He was initially confused and then disturbed by what his sister had become, but he always tried to get closer to her and help her despite cold reciprocation.
At the end of her life, she became haunted by the idea of the Calling and came to despise Duncan and the Wardens. She became obsessed with finding a way to remove the taint from her. But part of her welcomed an end to her life. And an even darker and deeply hidden part of her that she tried maddily to supress, was hoping to see Alistair again, going to his Calling with her.

Malia thought it fitting that Loghain had died to end the Blight. Fitting and a close escape for her! Alistair sent her travelling around the country, showing her off to the people. His idea of punishment for sparing Loghain and allowing him to die a hero. Cursed man.
Then, finally, to her relief the First Warden sent her to Amaranthine. Finally, more Darkspawn to fight. New companions to recruit and a fellow mage to, er, chat with.
Once those troublemakers were dealt with, Malia spent some time helping rebuild the Vigil before once more moving on. She started out for Antiva, her intent to find Zevran and see if he had anything interesting to do, but unfortunately half way there she met a handsome man.
A few weeks later she realised she'd been about to do something but couldn't for the life her remember what. Deciding it couldn't have been all that important after all, Malia went to Denerim where she lived happily doing magic tricks for children and handsome men.
In her later years in response to the Calling, she packed her things and started for Orzemmar. She'd almost arrived when she was distracted by something interesting....

Eltanen himself had been severed from any connection he might have had as an alienage Elf when he was forcibly removed to the Circle of Magi, after having been caught practicing forbidden arts... magic, the birthright of elves, was apostasy to the Humans and their Chantry. Forced to bide his time at the Circle, Eltanen grew cold and distant, and learned to hide his true isolation and resentments... and his lust for power. Power, to Eltanen, was the ability to set one's own destiny, and the destinies of others. Ah, but one must be so very careful never to reveal such lusts, even to others who also professed them, like another would-be rebel, Jowan.
Eltanen undertook the Harrowing, and found it remarkably easy. He had no strong connections to anyone or anything, so it was easy to use the powers of Mouse without feeling any compulsion to help him... the Fade Test, for him, was just a chance to unleash his powers... and then be wise enough to not reveal them, or his true motivations.
Following the Harrowing, Eltanen was approached by Jowan, with a sappy story about wanting to escape the Tower for the sake of true love for some Chanty pawn named Lily. To Eltanen, the plot was simple-minded, and the motive was weak... so it was easy to betray Jowan to First Enchanter Irving... a man who himself understood the value of concealment and compromise.
And thus was Eltanen's fate and destiny sealed. Eltanen himself remarked to Duncan that his motivation was 'to gain power'. That was Duncan's one and only warning... but alas, Duncan was so caught up in his own quest to gather recruits that he did not consider Eltanen's rare moment of perfect honesty as the serious issue it was. Duncan only replied 'Be careful what you wish for...'
And so, events were set into motion.
In the succeeding two years, from the disaster at Ostagar, to the horrific revolt in the Tower, to the massacre of the werewolves and Keeper Zathrian himself... from the bloody midnight battle at RedCliff castle to the slaughters in the depths of the Deep Roads, Eltanen grew in power... and ruthlessness. How could any have known that the sly smile on the face of the Elven Mage was not one of benevolence and concern for the good of Ferelden... but rather one of contempt for Humans and all their works? Did he not, after all, kill DarkSpawn in their hundreds? Did he not build the first Alliance army seen in centuries? Did he not save the Golems for the good of Orzammar? Of course, many suffered and died for his decisions... but were these not justified for the good of Ferelden? Did not the Grey Wardens themselves argue that anything was justified to stop the Blight?
It is said that Wynn, in the last few months of her life came to realize that she had been manipulated... that the fabled Eltanen, Grey Warden and Master Mage, hero of Redcliff, Savior of Denerim, Slayer of the ArchDemon... had fooled them all. For if it was said that he had built a coalition, won the Landsmeet, and seen the end of Loghain's regency... was it not that he had merely replaced Loghain with himself? Wynn, who looked back on a long life spent in service to others, who wanted to believe in a higher cause, in service to others, in safety in the arms of the Circle and Chantry... had been as much a puppet as Loghain had guessed. With the clarity of mind given her, by death and her connection to the spirits of the Fade, she knew... but could say nothing.
For Wynn realized, too late, that the Warden had betrayed them all. It was whispered that Morrigan had fled Denerim after the battle, and would speak with no one for the cause. It was also whispered that the Warden and Morrigan had taken up a Dark Ritual on the eve of the great battle with the Arch-Demon... and Wynn, with her knowledge of a lifetime and her background as a mage could guess why.
For, despite all previous battles with Arch-Demons, this Warden, this... Eltanen... Master Wizard, Blood Mage and Arcane Warrior... did not die as other Wardens had. Something was very strange about this, and Wynn was old enough, wise enough, and near enough to her own death to know that here was strange, powerful magic indeed, and not mere happy fortune as the common folk might think. The Warden had made a pact with that demon-in-human-form, Morrigan.
Wynn knew that Eltanen was ruthless... and absolutely without fear. She knew that the pact would not have been made merely to spare his own life... but for some greater, darker cause. Wynn could guess what it was. Eltanen and Morrigan had conspired... betrayed the faith of Humans... betrayed the Chantry he so despised... and conceived a child on that dark night. There would be an Old God reborn... a beast with the soul of beauty, the face of a hero, born from the womb of treachery, spawned on the eve of slaughter.
In the last few months of her life, by the dark of night, Wynn would sit and stare into the fire in her chambers at the palace of Denerim... sit, and brood, despair and wonder.
What would become of the child? Where could Morrigan hide the child, hide herself, so that none would know until the Beast was ready to unleash itself upon an unsuspecting Thedas? Where indeed had Eltanen, the Warden gone? For in the months after the Battle of Denerim, he too had mysteriously... vanished. For, despite his honeyed words, Wynn knew that in his heart, the Elf harbored all of the Demons that he was so notorious for slaying. Rage... Hunger...Deceit... Lust...Pride... these had fallen to Eltanen not because he was pure of heart, but because his rage, his lust for power and murder, his utter disregard for anything or anyone had been greater even than theirs. True, he had saved them all... but for what cause, to what end?
To destroy a monster, they had created and empowered another... who in turn then spawned yet another. Wynn would think these things, know these things... and despair.
For after the dawn... must surely come the night.
