And hopefully, I can get a dev's "official" repsonse on this because I dont see where it would be "spoiling" anything storywise for the game but, I have 2 questions about DA2 (The second of which Im pretty sure we wont see but I'll ask anyway.)

1.) Is there ANY chance at all that we can get a New Game Plus feature this time around? The lack of one in Origins was the primary turn off for me and ultimately why there was little replay value for me.  I played through the game a total of 5-6 times and became rather bored with it.  Dont get me wrong, I enjoy building my character from the ground up but having to do that every single time just became a rather tedious process.  To me, being able to carry over my character from a previous playthrough is the ultimate reward for having pressed through and "struggled", for lack of a better way of putting it, toward the climax of the story.  Main reason Im asking I suppose is that I'd "like" to know if this is going to be implemented so that I can decide whether or not I should preorder the game, or just merely put it on my rental Q on gamefly and resign myself to only renting the game.

2.) Is there any way that we can get some sort of toggle for forced Deathblows? (Much like the player added mod for DA:O on PC) It wouldnt have to be available strait away of course but have it as an "unlockable" I suppose for playing through the game at least once? I wont be "heartbroken" if this one isnt present but I figure I'd ask anyway.

I know you guys (the Devs) are busy and all but any "official" insight you can provide on at least #1 would be great.  Because as it stands right now, I definately plan on "playing" DA2.  The only question left now is, will I be "buying" it or merely "renting" it?  If we can see a New Game Plus, then I suspect it'll be the former...Otherwise, it will most likely be the latter unfortunately.  Thanks in advance Posted Image

I hope they don't have a New Game+ mode in DA2. You said you played the first one five or six times before it became boring enough for you to stop? I'd say you got your money's worth. I wish most games were good enough to beat five times.

When I start a new game with a new character I don't want anything I've done previously to affect that game at all.

I'd definitely like a newgame+ feature, or at least the ability to travel around a bit and finish some quests I missed.

I like that the end is an end.

Not some intermission.

i would like a new game+ feature, and would finally be able to hit level cap without scavenging for every little exp point. and i wouldn't have to recreate my character entirely just to play through again.

Yea, but I suppose what I failed to mention is that where as I only played through 5-6 times in DA:O, I am STILL playing ME2 because of the NG+.....For me, "Getting my money's worth" out of a game means having near infinite replay value....To which, yes, by that standard, I dont OWN very many games....There are of course some games that are "exceptions" to the rule (primarily because some are NOT rpgs lol.) such as AC and ACII and Fallout 3...Seriously, other than ME and ME2 those are the ONLY games I own lol.

As I said, the real reason Im asking about #1 is so that I know whether or not I should actually be "buying" or "renting" this installment.  If there is no NG+, then I'll resign to renting it....If there is, I'll be buying it...Simple as that.  It's not really a matter of "Its what I want" so much as it is the former query of "buying" or "renting" because honestly, had I known ahead of time that DA:O wasnt going to have a NG+, I'd have only rented it.  I'd just like to NOT waste my money on an rpg this time around that Im only going to play 5-6 times and then sell to gamestop lol.
